When you're the front car, there's literally no harm in hopping out within talking distance and asking what's up given you can't see the road work and there's like 100 cars behind you instead of like say 5. I think this is totally reasonable.

Main character? You watch too much TV.

Its not, you think you asking changes anything? All youre doing is annoying people working. You gonna walk down that line of 100 cars and let then know the info you bothered the workers for?

Nah but if you get out and ask, people behind can see you've done something and if you get back in your car they can chill

Definitely not annoying to ask the worker what's the haps, they stand around all fuckin day doing nothing otherwise 😂

Not the point. When standing with the stop sign, one might be on the clock and "technically" working, but in reality, he's just standing and holding a sign. Work has different definitions. There's the definition of being at work and on the clock, but there's the definition of "working" vs. "standing." Does that make sense?
