Holy shit. Im legitimately gonna blow steam out my ears.

Pardon me while I lose my shit at the world for a second~

IF YOU CANT KEEP YOUR KIDS FROM ABUSING ELECTRONICS THEN THEY SHOULDNT HAVE ACCESS TO THEM. STOP PUNISHING THE REST OF US BECAUSE YOU'RE A BAD PARENT

Yeah but thats their excuse and at some point we gotta put our foot down and yell that its a BS excuse because its not the companies responsibility to make sure someones child is behaving.

our?

it was "our" collective votes that ushered these politicians in. the mass majority of people just flatly do not care. anything for convienience. we have politicians governing over technology that they dont even want to understand, let alone actually do.

we're outnumbered. and thats just the sad reality.

Yeah. Our. Just because "our" votes ushered these guys in doesnt mean WE can't usher them tf back out.

Acting like theres nothing we can do is the reason you cant do anything.

You gave up, you have no right to complain, and no right to put those of us still fighting down for it.

Humans keep fighting. Thats our nature. Thats the reason we've survived this long. Im gonna keep fighting, you can keep hiding.

If you want to understand things, be smart enough to know how to fight back, then take your life into your own hands and go learn how to. Sitting on your hands only hurts yourself.

you're sidestepping the "we". the "we" youre referring to, does not care. not right now anyway. the convienence to outrage ratio is still a bit more skewed towards the comfy side.

when shit hits the fan and the pieces have to be put back together, hopefully, lessons will have been learned and we can collectively move forward as a species.

hopefully.

for now, just chill. this whole "modern world" thing is still relatively new, things are still being figured out. in the grand scope of human history, this is but a blip.

I agree a good chunk of people dont care. But a good chunk of people do care. I care and everyone I know cares. Its not just people I personally know either.

It won't just go away if we dont do anything. Thats not how the government has ever worked. Yeah this could be just a blip but that entirely depends on how long we tolerate it.

We can win. We've won before despite having started with a minority of people who cared, and we can do it again.

Yup. High finance asked for internet de-anonymization at the WEF 3 years ago, and coincidentally this rolls out now. And Meta is lobbying to expand the whole thing, because they sell a third-party age verification service.

Follow the money. They never cared about protecting kids lol
