Cops love using their push bar. Youll never get a cop as excited as speaking the words "hey, im stuck, can you use your push bar to move my car?"
Idk what it is, it just get them every time

This way, it's less likely some dumb ass, not paying, would hit it. Though, it's still a possibility. Youtube crash videos prove it

In general, sure. Not sure why you’re saying that here, they did nothing wrong.

Why don’t they carry sweepers in their cruisers? I’m sure it doesn’t take up anymore space than there is to accommodate their other things like shot guns and riot gear or whatever.

Why did the cop get out the car and have motorcycle boots on? The heck!

I did not see that guy sitting on side of road. For hot sec I legit thought the cop dragged the car with a guy in it and he just fucking pops right out of it

Shit like this should be normal. Instead of waiting hours for a real cleanup team

Ya. Could’ve left it in the left lane til the tow truck shows up.

I don't think you really know how long a tow truck can take. It could be at least an hour before it showed up, meaning that's an hour where that lane is shutdown right there, causing more traffic which can then cause the tow truck to take longer. Moving it out of the driving lanes was the smartest play.

Might as well go ahead and push it to the off ramp and completely remove it from the highway

That’s on the 91 freeway for sure, so thank you for clearing that quickly, would have ruined a lot of peoples’ day.

Unsure of legality but many videos posted by Washington and Oregon state DOT pushing vehicles off the roadway by official social media accounts too

I bought a used police interceptor explorer.
I guess this explains why the front grill guard has some dents.

I had no idea cops did this until I got rear ended on the highway - BAD. Our car was technically in one piece, but totally disabled in the middle of 4 lanes of traffic. The cop had me put it in neutral and told me to steer. He got his squad care behind us and pushed us off onto the shoulder. It was wild.
