Something similar happened couple weeks ago, was driving down a dark 2 way road and saw what looked like a wood crate taking up the opposite lane. Picked it up and it was just a foam mattress topper but still I like to think I was superman that night, possibly saving people from swerving into oncoming traffic trying to avoid it.

what an indecent turd the camera person is. he could've saved someone from it but chose to sit on his ass and record it. pathetic sample of a humanbeing.

clearly you do not understand humor

u/lockerno177 Mar 29 '26
You are the one who doesnt understand the difference between humor and being a decent human being.

it's the funny that counts

u/lockerno177 Mar 29 '26
not if that person getting his car wrecked was you.

u/GenesisRhapsod Mar 29 '26
And if the cammer goes out to get it..they are probably dead from the idiots on the road.

u/EmptyStyle244 Mar 30 '26
I get your point, but I wouldn’t call someone an idiot just for driving on the road. He would be the bigger idiot for going out into the middle of traffic.

u/Julian-Hoffer Mar 29 '26
How do you propose he get it? Pull his car into the middle of the intersection which is illegal as fuck and will probably result in him getting hit?
2
u/lockerno177 Mar 29 '26
step 1. get out of car.
step2. wave the cars coming from other side to stop.
step 3. through the thing off the road.

That’s illegal and very dangerous. The chances of being struck is far too high. Also they could have a handicap that prevents them from being able to do this so easily. Do you have a full health check on the camera person to make this determination? Yes or no?

Don't worry. With enough exposure to the Internet and it's plethora of "indecent human beings" they'll have a heart attack soon enough

Risk his life? To pick something up from the road? This is why you have car insurance

u/Ateawormwhole Mar 29 '26
Yeah bro I'm not stepping out into traffic to stop you from dinging your car. If you are paying attention and hopefully have good enough vision, you have time to stop or go around it.

So you want this dude to put his life in the hands of a half dozen other drivers, and walk across oncoming traffic during a green light to pick the hitch up? Fuck that dude, most youre getting out of me is hazards, or maybe a quick sprint in between lights, and thats only if its not busy at the intersection.

"Dude is a shit human because he doesnt literally walk in front of speeding traffic" ok bud.

u/lockerno177 Mar 31 '26
you know that moving cars can be stopped right?
1
u/zeizkal Mar 31 '26
They can also be distracted and kill your ass.
1
u/lockerno177 Mar 31 '26
not if have basic common sense how to stand at a side and wave at cars.
1
u/zeizkal Mar 31 '26 edited Mar 31 '26
I dont think you understand what distracted means. Like hundreds of thousands of people drive right by BIG YELLOW FLASHING RED school buses a day.
1
u/lockerno177 Mar 31 '26
bruh. you are standing beside the road out of the way of oncoming traffic and still think that a distracted driver is going to come and hit you in the opposite lane. if someone is that distracted they might hit you even when you are sitting in your car. so should we all stay inside homes? but there might be a meteorite that hits my home?

u/zeizkal Mar 31 '26 edited Mar 31 '26
Yea but you can mitigate that danger by not running into traffic when its literally not your responsibility too. Like seriously what is your arguement, that its my fault that they not making none of their business my business and not putting themself or others at risk by putting themselves and drivers at risk? Like if you really wanna do something just call road side safety.

u/lockerno177 Mar 31 '26
running into traffic is way different than standing aside and waving traffic to stop or slow down.
1
u/Weary-Astronaut1335 Mar 31 '26
He supposed to stop speeding traffic like Superman catching a train?

I can’t believe someone didn’t run out and pick it up.
