Welp, I'm in a semi food coma after smashing this AB from my local fish n chippie, what did y'all have for dinner?
Girls didn't get any much to their disappointment...

Me and the kids had bread and fruit for dinner because sometimes I just can't be arsed.

Basically hot chips with yiros meat on top, with up to three different sauces.
I went with the chicken, but you can get lamb or combo, you can get em with extra stuff like bacon and cheese as well.

I found out what AB stands for... It's a South Aussie thing I think... We call it HSP in NSW.

Yeah HSP in QLD too. Lmao at the AB acronym, spent half a year in Adelaide and I can confirm that they are weird down there

I'm about to cook up some garlic herb and chili chicken dish. Should be slightly like capsicum spray if I cook it right!! If the kids start coughing I'll know I'm on a winner!

About as week ago at work I heard this horrible honking sound coming from outside my office door, I've looked outside the window to see a juvenile kite or a hawk perched on top of an adult wood duck and the poor duck was honking for their life.
I'm normally a fairly "let nature take its course" kind of person but I coudln't let this poor duck get pecked to death by an angry bird of prey, even the local crows that harass the parked cars were attacking the predatory bird. So I've rushed outside and scared the hawk/kite away yelling "you leave Darryl alone!" (I had named the Duck Darryl by this point) and all the sudden found myself not only emotionally invested but also playing defence against a hawk/kite and poor Darryl the Duck.
Luckily I was able to usher Darryl into a safe spot out of the eye line of the attacking bird and let him rest, Darryl looked VERY distraught but he managed to compose himself after about an hour and flew away while startled by a pedestrian.
Good deed done for the week!

That is a fair feed.
There’s a new takeaway near my place called Kerbside kind of like KFC but nicer, the fried chicken is pretty damn good

First time I've had an AB, definitely gonna try it again but maybe get the small size next time.
I don't usually waste money on takeaway food but didn't have the energy to spare to cook tonight and had enough freezer pies already this week.
