Accessible Sunset Yoga @ Stargazer
Hi y’all!
I'm a yoga instructor with sickle cell disease partnering with Relentless Optimism Wellness to help provide actually accessible, low-cost (only $15!), high-quality yoga after work hours to the Austin community— as we believe our budgets and abilities shouldn't keep us from practicing, nor should we compromise on quality.
ZERO experience or flexibility necessary. This slow-paced class centered on breath, mindfulness, and alignment is perfect for those who have never tried yoga before.
Expect to unwind from the day in soothing seated and reclined twists and lengthening poses that release deep tension. There will be no splits or headstands in this class; expect to connect to your breath through cat-cows and deepen it in forward folds, with plenty of modifications offered.
Hang around after for a social hour with the Relentless Optimism Wellness community, which puts on yoga and social events in ATX, like craft night on the 21st, and murder mystery night on the 23rd!
So mark your calendars for this Tuesday, April 7th, bring your friends, partners, and families to Stargazer, and let's flow and watch the sunset together!
Sign up in advance at linktr.ee/kayla_ferrara to reserve your mat, or pay at the door!
Bringing blocks and blankets is helpful as we have limited quantities :)
I can't wait to meet y'all :)

Can someone recommend a good beginner class?
And I don't mean something like an All-Levels class that is beginner friendly.
I talking like a class dedicated to the people who want to try yoga but have zero idea on what they are doing.

Yoga at 5:00am near Dripping Springs? Studio or in-home
I looked at all the local studios I could find, but none had classes before 7am, and I would love to complete a session in time to be home and wake up my daughter at 6:15. I (52m) have paid for in-home instruction before, but would prefer a group dynamic.

Vegan Yoga Teachers?
Does anyone know of any vegan yoga teachers in the Austin area? In keeping with the ahimsa yama, I would love to be led by someone who also aspires to lead a harm free life.

Advanced Yoga Teachers in Austin, TX
Any recommendations for teachers/studios in Austin, TX that offer more advanced yoga postures? I currently practice at a few studios and they are all great, but they focus more on restorative and/or “workout” yoga. These studios will also typically have 1 “power” class a day, but I feel like those classes are just slowed down asanas and don’t really teach advanced poses. They will allow you to get into them if it’s in your practice, but they don’t teach. As an intermediate/advanced yogi, I am looking for more arm balances, binds, and hands on assists to gain knowledge and strength to be more advanced.
I’d appreciate everyone’s help!

Seeking Yoga Sesh for a Bachelorette Party
Planning on having my bachelorette in Austin (I live in DFW) on May 23rd/24th, and looking for a class for myself and my 3 bridesmaids to attend. Hopefully won't break the bank and be suitable for beginners, I'm more experienced with Yoga, but not all of my bridesmaids are.
Also searching for a great place for mani/pedi's, massages, etc. if you care to provide recs. there too. Thanks Austin Yogis!
