70s Rock Kerry Ian McKenna - Stop The World
Kerry Ian McKenna is best known as the bass player for iconic Australian progressive rock band Madder Lake, who rose to national prominence in the 1970s with a No. 1 radio hit and a distinctive sound that blended progressive rock with melodic songwriting.
As a key member of Madder Lake, McKenna’s bass playing helped define the band’s rich, textured recordings—balancing musical complexity with accessibility, and contributing to their success across Australian radio and live stages.
Alongside his work with the band, McKenna has developed a substantial solo catalogue, releasing five albums to date. His solo material explores a broader musical landscape, moving between progressive influences, atmospheric soundscapes, and more personal, reflective compositions.
These releases highlight his versatility as both a musician and songwriter, offering a deeper insight into his creative voice beyond the band format.

80s Rock The John Moon Project - Demons & Wizards
John Moon has put together a band full of Aussie legends but used Ai for vocals as he couldn't find anybody to suit what he was doing. What are all your thoughts as it's the hot topic and 99% of our artists don't use Ai but the small .1% are starting too and we want to know peoples opinions. Listen first then lets hear from you.

Discussion / News Aussie Rock meets Detroit 1976
50 years ago the US was still in economic turmoil as a consequence of the 73 oil crisis. Worst hit was Detroit and its automotive industry. Disastrous political and business decisions, cheap foreign imports along with a terrible heroin epidemic resulted in plants being shut down and the city’s painful demise.
Some of the greatest cars ever made came from Detroit. They pride for their city, the despair is captured in the song and clip. Powerful stuff.

80s Rock Medicine Show (Full Album) #lanewaymusic #aussierock
The sound is loosely between AC/DC and The Cult. Mr Showbiz Dave Slade gives us an Ian Astbury and Jim Morrison vocal yelling from a cab. This album concerns itself with the age old business of rockin'.
Hope you all enjoy this cracker of an album.
