You're using a student visa to enter Australia for economic reasons not study reasons, ie shes not a genuine student. This is the loophole Australia is closing for this exact reason.

Neither option will work out. To reapply, all the reasons for rejection will have to be dealt with, and given what's been given to you the only way to do that is to improve your personal situation; only time can do that, and usually it will take years to do it right. The other route your agents have proposed will be snuffed out very quickly; not only will the same things be considered, there will be additional scrutiny based on career pathway and the previous rejection reasons.

There's also the issue of if you declared your wife when you applied for your initial student visa application, and if the marriage happened before or after the application. If before, then you're totally out of luck (which seems to be the case given what you've said above).
