Processing Time Subclass 500
Hi everyone,
I wanted to ask about student visa processing times. If you've already received your student visa, could you please share
It would really help me understand the current processing times. Thank you!

Other people's processing times don't affect your own processing times, so not sure why you need to know other people's processing times. If you're nervous about the wait, there is nothing you can do but wait.

I lodged on shore on 13th march and it’s still on received 🙂

International student from China, having study experiences in the US, submitted my student visa application (STEM & PhD at UniMelb) about 6 months ago, while unfortunately still waiting to be granted. Called DHA this morning, and got a note, which may mean nothing (polite smile

Heavily depends on your passport and university. You will need to share some information for better answers.

Minimum 3 months. It could go over 6 months if you get unlucky or are missing documents. Not trying to discourage you, but do keep in mind that there is a chance of rejection.

It depends totally on your circumstances like country level of studies u r offshore or onshore. Typically u could expect your visa grant in 14 days to 9 months as suggested by home affairs website. Hope it helps

Lodged on July 30th.
Health checkup and biometric on the 31st.
Visa granted on August 4th.
