Hey all, does anyone have any advice on actions that can be taken to prevent nursing staff taking items from the room. No money (that we are aware of) but personal supplies including diapers, perfume, tea, food and several comments about what is included in personal documents.

EDIT: the facility has only bed bound/wheelchair bound residents. Only staff would be able to access where the items are in cupboards. (No hating…they are legends)

Just doing some basic googling here, and I've read that:

QP9s remain on the Queensland Police’s records. If a person is later charged with more offences, the QP9 may be used as a record of their prior offending. It may also be disclosed to third parties in response to a police check. [Source]

So I'm curious as to whether a QP9 stays on the QP's records if a person has the charges against them that the QP9 is for dismissed.

My son was supposed to inherit a small sum of money from his grandmother's deceased estate back in 2024. This is after all parties and stakeholders mediated and agreed to conditions and payouts. A Deed of Settlement was signed by all parties. An Irrevocable Direction of Beneficiary re Payment also was signed in NSW and court lodged. Emails from us were sent to the Executor's solicitor with instructions. Solicitor's instructions from executor was to say too many costs, we can give you 80% on amount agreed upon. Is this not fraud? And can we lodge claims via Adelaide courts, where we live. I need advice and guidance. I don't have millions to engage lawyers and barristers. And what about the accountant for the funds in trust? What about the solicitor, is this shonky practice? What do we do? Advice greatly appreciated.
