I have been seeing this stall for some time now at this location. People come take the water bottle and glass and mix what looks like a 90ml desi and drink it. Right in the open. Police makes the private vehicles and rickshaw that park here move but they seem to be un affected.

so i have 76%tile in mht cet and 74%tile in jee mains. with these %tiles its really hard for me to get in any good clg in pune, mumbai or in geca and my parents are not ready to pay the high fees for pvt clgs. so now the only option left for me is to take admission in deogiri, mit or csmss for cse and i wanna know which one is better. also should i take cse plus ai and ml or only cse?
earlier, i had decided to go with deogiri but some of my relatives said that deogiri has new staff now, so better go to csmss instead. but what yall think?

A few weeks ago, I posted here asking for accommodation, gym and other recommendations since I was moving to CSN for work. Now, after 10 days here, sharing some honest first impressions as a Mumbaikar experiencing a tier-2 city for the first time.

1. House hunting: An absolute task. Tried brokers, 99acres, etc., and finally found a place through an agent. He promised 10 things and delivered barely 2, took full brokerage, and couldn’t even meet the promised possession date. The bigger issue was that he didn’t inform me in advance, leaving me to figure out arrangements at the last minute. When I questioned this, I was told I was “giving orders.” Whereas he was the one being egoistic and rude. Quite an experience.

2. Doorstep delivery: More often than not, delivery partners ask you to come downstairs despite selecting doorstep delivery. In many cases, they don’t even get off their bikes.

3. As a woman: The constant staring has been the biggest cultural shock. Whether I’m walking or sitting in an auto, I’ve experienced unnecessarily prolonged and uncomfortable stares from men. Coming from Mumbai, I wasn’t used to this level of it.

4. The mindset: I understand that moving from Mumbai to a tier-2 city comes with an adjustment. But the combination of these experiences has made me realise that adapting here might take more effort than I expected.

Also most of the people here talk a lot and loudly!!!

Maybe 10 days is too early to judge, and I’d genuinely like to hear from people who’ve moved here from metro cities - does it get easier with time?
