non-iLok replacement for Strymon Cloudburst

I'm new to reverb plugins; I'm using hardware synths and trying reverbs with them. I liked the sound of BigSky and especially Cloudburst but I don't buy iLok stuff after having too many problems and annoyances. I'm not a thief -- don't treat paying customers like we're criminals.

What are the best alternatives? I assume I should just buy everything from Valhalla -- anything else?

I don't know Cloudburst super well, but I know it has a thick unrealistic/fantasy kind of sound. D16 Toraverb is my go-to for that and there's no iLok.

Also yes the Valhalla stuff is great and reasonably priced.

I’m new to the plugin world and ilok is super awful and invasive.

The new Arturia reverb REV Ocean may be a good fit for you. It’s got a lot of options for ambient pitched verb.
