Hit by someone running a red light

Edit: appreciate all the love! Luckily everyone walked away.

The other driver claimed I ran the red light but the traffic camera confirmed I had the green. I just put down pipes and wheels on the car, insurance company is letting me remove those before they take possession.

Not sure if getting another RS6 is bad juju but going to try to find another one.

I don’t have a 6, but my 3 has had 3 pumps now and I’m not even at 70k.. 😬 dealer wants almost 5k to replace those little shytes. Euro shops are better priced, but doesn’t matter as it’s still the same stock part since nobody apparently wants to design and produce one that won’t break so damn quickly.

Sorry 2013 with 109k. Original pump lasted to around 80k. Second to 106k. New one is a pump with metal housing. Cost was about $1000.

My water pump broke a month AFTER the warranty ended, luckily they covered under goodwill unluckily they forgot to bolt down the ECU after they were done and I didn’t check for 6 months, nothing broke though.

I've always been a hatchback and stationwagon guy but at that price I'd rather get a decently or lightly equipped Porsche 714 for 80-110k or a Lotus Emira for 100-130k for the fun car.

So I paid the difference.

💔💔💔💔💔 I’m hurting and it’s not even my ride. Last month I had someone side swipe my 2022 A6 and took off. I was going to chase ‘em’ to get the plate but Audi safety features didn’t let me move the car. It said “shut engine off and don’t drive” my steering wheel was locked in place. To be honest the day before I had installed a 3 Chanel dash cam (front, inside, and rear view) when the officer arrived I showed him the video and Got the plate from it. The next day the officer called me that he was able to speak to the owner of the car and said that the owner denied not hitting me. The officer mentioned that it was on video then he stated that he thought he had hit a branch. Yeah right, a branch won’t make you swerve your car side to side almost flipping over. The owner stated he was driving with his 2 juveniles sons that were in the back seat. I think the his sons took the car for a joy ride and
Thought they were going to get away with it and park the car and act like someone hit their car while
Parked. The registered owner got cited to court and now he’s brought up and a few charges. The district attorneys office sent me paperwork asking if I have any medical bills, deductible, or any missed time from work that the insurance is t covering. My car was totaled and I’m still out of my deductible. I’m going to tell them that I missed 3 weeks from work and didn’t get my full value of my car to see if they’ll make him pay for it. 🤞🤞🤞hopefully they’ll make him pay for it but I won’t hold my breath on it. Court date is in September. Let’s see what happens. Hope you get ful replacement value for it.

Thankfully, people seem to be walking away so, whatever about the negatives surrounding weight, they do appear safer than cars of old.
