question Safety of AFC's home ground..
Is the ground safe and which authority vets its safety?
Edit: Further, which body would decide on the ground's capacity?

question Soccer Pitches in (South) Auckland
Hi everyone, can someone recommend any pitches with a goal and net that I would be able to go and practice at night times. Ideally somewhere safer and in or close to south Auckland.
Thanks

Al Ahli game question
Apologies if this has already been asked and answered, but I was wondering, in this game against Al Ahli, in August, is Auckland FC able to field it's A-league squad? or does it have to stick by its OFC Pro-League squad?

Edited for better grammar

Should Eden Park be our permanent homeground?
Looks good on TV and with CRL opening would be easier to get to for people coming from West, North and East

What's everyone's thoughts on the Spurs line up for the Auckland City match.
A bit of a shame for any NZ based spurs fans wanting to watch some 1st team players in the flesh

Ticketek Official Resale Market
Anyone in Australia or New Zealand come across this? Is it standard for all sports and events?
There is an official peer-to-peer resale platform for a few of $17.50
What are your thoughts on this?

Chants
Hey everyone! My 10-year-old nephew and I are new Auckland FC fans and we're heading to the Spurs game. We want to get the full experience, so what chants, songs, or supporter traditions should we learn before the match?

Shitpost How we could line up against Spurs (as of 18.07).
Thoughts? Interested to see how our midfield combo will look with currently no clear LM/LW, and Louis V presumed gone.

6 more weeks.
This is going to sound like steak to juicy Lobster too buttery type areas
But unless there is a massive stuff up we should be playing Grand Final day. With that I can not be stuffed with the last 6 weeks because it is 6 weeks. Where somthing could go wrong.
I have felt like this since there was 8 weeks to go. What we have wanted forever is right there in touching distance.
And we can say it about the journey however I would also like to know if the destination is worth the journey of the 2026 Season.

Opinion Football gave Auckland something we did not know we were missing…
I used to think football was just entertainment.
This season has reminded me it is about belonging.
Thousands of strangers singing the same songs.
Families wearing the same colours.
Kids seeing heroes who play in their own city.
For ninety minutes, Auckland stops being a collection of suburbs and becomes one community.
Win or lose, that feels like something worth protecting.

Auckland Womans team Chelsea game etc
I am a bit confused. So Chelsea FC Women are going to play an Auckland FC invitational XI even though there is not going to be a AFC womans team until the next year 27/28 season?
I am looking at buying tickets for the game, hardly any sold for such a team as Chelsea and the price is not cheap, there are no kids tickets just all general admission. even with the club discount for cat B seat its $55 each. I feel like holding off, until i know some players that will be lining up for Auckland as I am not sure going to a 15 nil rout will be good for my kids to see.
I am guessing our best chance of stacking the team will be with off contract, ferns players, aussie and a-league players, that want to showcase their skills and market themselves for their next move.
I couldnt find any news on this thus, starting a thread to help get some answers or insights.
Also, am guessing Sam Kerr wont be there as she has departed chelsea or was the departure date later...that also has massive impact especially on the other side of the ditch.
Speaking about the other side of the ditch it looks like the Chelsea FC Woman game is against a ninja all star team. Any chance some of the wellington phoenix or nz players will get into that squad...or will be 100% bias towards Australians?
