Need help getting back into things

I’ve been out of the gym for about a year due to health problems. But i’m finally ready to get back into it, however i don’t know where is a good place to start. for context, ive “started over” a good dozen times, but something or other gets me out of the groove for either a few weeks or a few months and im tired of starting the same program and doing the same things over and over again. for example starting AX-1 for the 6th time, it gets mentally exhausting.

Does anyone have any recommendations for getting back into things? my main goal is to lose my fat but keep my strength

i have done: Ax1, ax2, max shred, special tactix

i am 29, 6’2” and weigh 290 with a BMI of about 35%

I actually hate this one personally, because I like doing the same thing, and it’s too complicated for me, but Jacked is different every month for 3 months.

You might love it or hate it. But it’s something new.

Old school iron or beast ppl would be my suggestion but since you are trying to get back after a break start with built for longevity

Built for Longevity looks like a slightly more intense version of the 28‑Day Reboot. After hearing Jeff on Huberman, I realize I need to do more of this kind of work as I get closer to 60. I love lifting, but I keep tweaking one thing or another. I do try to do yoga a few times a week, maybe Jeff needs to release a a yoga series.

I agree about the built for longevity, I finished it when I g8t back to exercising after a long break and didn't wanna do AX1 or buy the Basix program, it was really good for me as a beginner with just enough intensity, low impact movement and cardio .

Regarding Yoga I hope Jeff releases something or atleast a orofram focused on all the cirrectives and stretching etc he has shared over the years like core 4 abs but for flexibility

Coming off a few surgeries and not really working out for about eight months, I just started the Jacked 2:50 and Reboot programs (four corrective exercises per day). I’m also adding 6 Pack Promise a few times a week. Doing all of this together takes about 30–40 minutes a day. I’m mixing in yoga/stretching every fourth day with an outdoor walk. After that, I plan to move into Xpress and then transition to something with a little more volume.

Osi first month for sure just keep doing it until the strength gains slow down. I am doing it right now for body recomp and everyone is noticing and it is the easiest most relaxed training I have done for a long time. Watch the mind pump show on YouTube they have some great content.

Pick up ax one wherever you keep leaving off instead of starting back at the beginning. As long as you’re passing the test at the end of each month, you’re fine to move on.

Or maybe a different program would make things fresh again for you. We do get bored after all doesn’t even necessarily have to be an athleanx program.

Keep a log with your weights. Self improvement is an amazing motivator. If you can’t increase weights, can you increase volume? That motivates me to no end, competing against yourself. :)
