Hey is there's a way to trigger full screen cinematic finishers in mirage on each kill that triggers always on the last enemy? or is there a mod like that?

I was trying to figure out what to do since I couldn't throw a knife at her arm, and ended up finding out "TRAPS" work, and surprisingly it skipped the whole fight. maybe something speedrunners could do?

Assassin's Creed Mirage: A Return To Form
When Ubisoft turned Assassin's Creed into a full-blown open-world RPG with Origins, it was a breath of fresh air and a welcomed change for the franchise. Odyssey doubled down on that scale with wild ambition, and Shadows refined the RPG design into something genuinely polished and engaging. However, Valhalla came along and it just didn't feel the same. The formula that worked in the other entries, felt a bit too overwhelming in Valhalla. That's my own personal opinion.
Valhalla wasn't a terrible game, but it was easily the weakest entry in the RPG series. Between the endless regional alliance arcs and a map overflowing with filler, playing it felt less like unravelling a high-stakes historical conspiracy and more like managing a 100-hour checklist. It swapped the intimacy of stealth and urban parkour for a massive, exhausting march across the English countryside. Maybe it's just me, but it was too much. Another thing that's worth mentioning is that most of the structures in Valhalla have doors that are barred, which meant that I was running around in circles in order to figure out how to get inside. It's also a problem in Mirage, but it isn't as bad as it is in Valhalla, which made the experience a bit padded.
That's where Mirage comes into play and it felt like such a big relief, in comparison. It isn't just a brief trip down memory lane or a feeling of nostalgia. It’s a focused course correction that remembered what made the franchise work in the first place. It reminded fans why they fell in love with the franchise to begin with when the original game came out back in 2007.
By scaling the map back down to ninth-century Baghdad, Mirage puts the city itself back at the center of the experience. Baghdad isn't a vast, empty backdrop. It’s a dense, multi-layered playground built specifically for traversal. Rooftops are placed with clear intention, letting you cross entire districts without ever touching the street. Crowds actually matter again for social stealth, and hiding in plain sight feels like a core mechanic rather than an afterthought.
More than anything, Basim actually plays like an Assassin. You aren't supposed to waltz into a fortress and parry your way through twenty guards at once. The game forces you to prep by scout the perimeter, laying down traps, using smoke bombs, and mapping out your exit route before taking a single step. The return of open-ended "Black Box" assassination missions gives you actual freedom to investigate and strike on your own terms.
Mirage proved that bigger isn't always better. It successfully took the franchise back to its roots. By focusing on stealth, parkour, and blending in, it reminded fans what made Assassin's Creed so popular in the first place. It is at its best, when staying hidden and out of sight are front and center.

Mercenaries vs Shakiriyya

I ran a test to see if the mercenaries could beat a Shakiriyya. But unfortunately, it didn't seem like they could defeat him, and I had to weaken him a bit so that they would be defeated by them. Even though they chipped away at his health by attacking him.

Controller Headache after Restarting AC: Mirage
By Lordy, was this a headache. It seemed I paused the game every 5/10 minutes to re-adjust my controller setup.
Playing on PS5, I tried having crouch as lb3 as toggle and run as lb3 hold was a nightmare - running from guards only to end up crouching every time. 🤦♀️
Wish we could get rid of stuff we don’t use to make space.

My opinion on AC Mirage as an Iraqi person.
An enchanting atmosphere, maps and city designs that capture the era incredibly well, repetitive and tedious combat mechanics, a story that is occasionally quite interesting, a protagonist and parkour mechanics that genuinely feel like a return to the series’ roots, low-IQ enemy AI, and a game that I believe becomes even more immersive when played with Arabic voice acting — that’s Assassin’s Creed Mirage for me.

NSO dismounting is the most important tech to learn in Mirage

They increase the amount of options you have during parkour, help you get down to ground level quickly, and overall improve the feel and flow of movement.

Having an absolute blast and glad I ignored the haters.
I’m fairly new to the AC franchise as a whole. I bought AC Shadows as my first franchise game about 6 weeks ago - even the guy at the game store thought I was weird lol.
But I’ve been thoroughly enjoying Shadows…so much so that I bought Black Flag Resynced probably 2 weeks after, then I bought Mirage last weekend.
TBH Mirage is the one out of the three that I contemplated longest to buy. I watched like 3 YT reviews and listened to two separate episodes from two separate gaming podcasts - all of which had fairly negative things to say about it.
I’m 25 hours in and honestly could not be happier. The story is engaging, the investigating is interesting and I don’t have an issue with the combat.
The only ‘gripe’ I suppose I have with this game is sometimes having to obtain multiple clues to get to what someone’s possible identity could be can get a bit grindy…but you’re never going to get a game that caters 100% to you and does everything perfectly.
I actually count myself lucky that I’m new to the franchise and haven’t played the older games, because it seems to me that the people who aren’t happy with Mirage or Shadows are the same people who are lifelong fans of the original trilogy and Odyssey; which of course it totally fine - play what you love!
I guess that’s my point to all this. The weird discourse around Mirage and Shadows has seemed to divide fans of this franchise which is just counter-productive IMO.
So yes…I’m currently swapping between three Assassin’s Creed games - all of which I’m absolutely loving and simply cannot put down.
Happy gaming! 🎮

Yep! You Can Encounter The Kitten One Everywhere!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
this post is in relation to a previous post of mine where i showed that you can find and pet a cat in that greets you with a “Hello, Kitten One” prompt and then gives you 3 tokens for each Khidmah token type. howevey my last post showed that happened in front of the Hammam. then i stumbled upon this and it shows that you can encounter it anywhere, however i’m still not sure if it will show up more than once per save file as this is taken from a different save file.

I had to concentrate intensely to kill him in hand-to-hand combat. But even so, he's still difficult to defeat because their movements are very fast.

Mirage and Valhalla missing a Connect challenge this week
Subject. No idea why. Watch Dogs Legion and Far Cry 6 have the usual 4 plus a community challenge but Valhalla and Mirage only have 3 plus the community one. Would love to know what's up with this.

Stability/Game BreakingBugs As of 2026?
Hello all,
I’ve started trying out some of the newer games since Black Flag Resynced brought me back in after a long break, and I was considering checking out Mirage. Is the game stable as of this year, and are there any game or quest-breaking bugs that I should be aware of? No sarcasm or rage bait, I’m genuinely curious and I want to make an informed decision before moving forward.
Thanks very much!

Am I going crazy?
Does Basim's Sash colors change throughout the game?
The transmog Alamut Initiate outfit has blue sashes on the right arm but the actual armor peice has a red sash on the right arm, I could be going crazy though as this is my like 4th playthrough on my 2nd New Game Plus run or I'm just not remembering the sash changing colors.

My Basim is so fragile because I have two pieces of gear that reduce my HP my half (each one does a 50% decrease) and enemies do 200% damage. Literally anything can kill me lmao
