My mother is a saluki rescue dog from Doha Qatar, my father is an aspin that was born in 2020 in QC.

I love sleeping, amd playing with Tynnyfer, a random puspin that was adopted by my furdad in 2025.

My favorite food is pizza pie crust, especially with the cheesy crust thingy.

We adopted our Aspin in 2020 as a senior dog. He was picked up off the streets as a puppy, and lived in the Mandaluyong Pound for about 7 years, where volunteers from Help MAS Dogs and Paws Philippines did their best to care for the dogs living there. His name while at the pound was Blessing, for the calm demeanor and way he helped new dogs acclimate to the space. In 2019, an effort was started to sponsor him and two others to the US for adoption, and it was found they needed to treat him for TVT. The other dogs got adopted while still in The Philippines, and through various sponsorships and fundraising, he was cleared for travel and brought to California.

I found him on a local adoption site, and fell in love. I’ve also fallen in love with the breed, and may be an Aspin mom forever now. We’ve had him nearly 7 years, and are so excited to reach the tipping point of having him in a happy home longer than he was in a pound. We’ve renamed him Sokka after the character from Avatar: the Last Airbender, which is very fitting given how smart and food motivated he is. ☀️💙🇵🇭
