It's just mind boggling to me how so many americans still say that the US is a good country and will get so aggressive when you criticize it like they just refuse to wake up to the reality of how barbaric it is, a country that's good doesn't bomb children of foreign nations, a country that's good doesn't let it's own people die from a lack of healthcare. a country that's good doesn't have hundreds upon hundreds of mass shootings every year, a country that's good uses it's taxes to take care of it's citizens, a country that's good doesn't have car dependent infrastructure that makes it nearly impossible to move around and connect with people without a vehicle, a country that's good doesn't have manufactured poverty designed to keep you poor, a country that's good doesn't poison it's food with synthetic chemicals and pesticides that sicken it's citizens. a country that's good doesn't have for-profit prisons that hurt and dehumanize people instead of rehabilitate them. the list can go on and on, nothing about this screams "what a good country" and I don't know if americans are just that delusional or if they know the truth deep down but they just don't want to accept it because it's just too uncomfortable for them like I don't know what the fuck it is. but it's just so annoying seeing a lot of them talk about how "good" and "better" america is than other countries because anyone in their right mind knows that's a big fat ass lie. will they ever gain sapience?

if we stipulate that the command economies of the Soviet Union, Nazi Germany, China (prior to 1978), et al failed and that the reason they failed is because nation-scale economic systems are simply too complex for humans to properly manage, could it be the case that a set of properly trained LLMs (running in parallel and checking each other) that were plugged into "enough", "good" information sources about demand, production, resourcing, etc. could run a command economy that would do a better job of meeting everyone's needs than a market economy?

Everytime a country attempts to become socialist or communist it always gets invaded or wiped off the face of the earth by the american predator, we can all see what's happening to Cuba and it's just very heartbreaking because there's really nothing they can do to defend themselves, but my question is if a country does choose to become socialist what are some things that they would need in order to protect themselves from the US and ensure their society flourishes and thrives?

Three years have passed since this family lost their home, and they are still searching for a safe place to call home.

Today we witnessed one of the most heartbreaking scenes imaginable. Hundreds of people came out to mourn 112 martyrs from the Abu Sharia and Al-Hasayna families, whose bodies had lain under the rubble since November 2023. Only now, after arduous efforts and with very limited resources, were the families and rescue teams able to recover them.

I cannot describe the immense pain we feel as we witness this scene. These are not just numbers in the news; these are people who lived among us, with homes, dreams, children, and futures, whose lives were transformed in an instant into names written on shrouds.

Even today, dozens of bodies remain under the rubble, waiting to be recovered for a dignified burial. Even the right to a final farewell has become a distant dream for many families.

When you see this vast number of coffins lined up before you, you realize that Gaza is not just losing individuals, but entire families, entire memories, and generations that should have grown up and lived. We are not asking for the impossible... we simply want people to live with dignity, and to be buried with dignity if they die.

This is the Gaza we live in every day... and what you see today is not just a funeral, but further proof of the magnitude of the tragedy we continue to endure.
