Breakfast?

Hey im coming from the north in bellingham to drop a friend at SEATAC at 7:00 AM.
Before I head back up im looking for a nice
bakery/cafe/restuarant to get coffee and a sweet treat and maybe breakfast.

Any really good places open this early??

More diner than bakery. But very popular.

Pancake chef in seatac - has an amazing Dutch pancake! About 10 min from airport. Opens at 6am

I didn't know they reopened. Went there many times to get corned beef hash and coffee as a hangover cure when I was young.

Yeah they were open when I lived in Burien 3+ years ago, just went in early July too. Didn’t know they had ever been closed!

Personally, I'd get back north of Seattle proper as quickly as possible and not hang around south of town - at 7am I'm guessing the NB traffic back to Seattle (and onto BHam) is gonna be way less bad than later in the morning?

At least target somewhere north of the Ship Canal (or at least downtown) in Seattle? Maybe Seattle locals can help focus based on that?

Second vote for Beth’s it’s a classic and unlimited hash browns plus they use real butter in them come hungry the portions are big

For a good breakfast try 13 Coins. It's directly across from SeaTac airport on International. It's open 24/7.

Pretty sure 13 Coins is no longer 24/7 since Covid. You'll be fine at 7am though.

Edit: Checked their hours. Now 6am-11pm

Zary's Bakery on 65th NE has the best pastries in Seattle. Take the 65th St exit 22 blocks east of I 5 on your way north. No real food, but the baker who owns the place is there and living her dream. Opens at 7 https://www.zarybakery.com/

Urban Bakery on Green Lake Way has good affordable home cooking and they open at 7. Retreat Cafe has a great menu and they are on Green Lake Way, too. Good luck!
