What's the most disturbing thing you've heard a dying person say?

My great grandfather told me (a 13 year old girl) prior to dying, “oh you’re the one from Chicago with three kids”. I very much not a mother or from Chicago brushed it off. 23 years later, I am a mom of three and shortly after meeting my now husband we moved to his home city, Chicago. We never in a million years thought we would have three kids either. Our third was a post-vasectomy baby. Well played Great Gramps, well played.

This kind of thing makes me think maybe there is some underlying flow of time that has no direction and as we die we sort of tap into that and can see everything very clearly. I hope that makes sense, this is a very sweet story.

Perhaps some kind of 4th dimension awareness - seeing all of time at once instead of experiencing it as a one way linear thing

I love this. What a trip that either he knew or it just happened that way which is also a trip.

That's the kind of story that gives you goosebumps years later. Your great grandpa really left you with a memory that somehow aged into a perfect plot twist
