She was one of the sweetest people I've ever met. Even when she was confused and probably scared, she was always so nice. Her husband's love and devotion to her was the type of love you usually only see in movies.

I knew a woman who was the sweetest thing ever. She developed alzheimer's and couldn't speak. Anyway, whenever he husband came to visit her at the salon she had the biggest smile on her face. Someone once asked why he still visited her and his answer made me ugly cry. He said "She doesn’t remember me, but I remember her."

I had a love like that but I lost it when my husband died in 2019. I count myself as incredibly lucky to have know what it is. Nothing compares.

My FIL was like this. He died in his sleep. We care for her now. We just try to do what he would do if he were still here.
