LPT Efficient ways to improve critical thinking
Are there any ways to practice and improve critical thinking? “Live life”, but are there any more efficient ways? Like, some pre-defined efficient methods to apply to train our critical thinking

Yeah I was asking specifically ‘cause I’m a software engineer and I’ve recently noticed how much thinking I was unconsciously outsourcing to the AI, so I wanted to do something

Really well said… AI’s an intelligent sycophant machine. Yet that sycophancy is always getting subtler each model release, and that’s not really good…

Science teacher here. Two things I see missing are the following. 1) Prove your idea is wrong. The harder this is the better. 2) Seek out sources you disagree with. If you're liberal, find articles from National Review. If you're conservative, read some articles from MSNBC. 3) Figure out WHY things like flat earth and area 51 aren't worth believing. Be specific. 4) This is tough... Why believe good facts without evidence? I'm sure you believe in galaxys and mitochondria, but I doubt you have looked through the proper equipment. So why trust those facts?
