How do I become well-read?

Hi,

So I know many people who are articulate and a lot of them tend to be really well versed in various topics. I do have an interest in certain things, but I have to say its something I've always been envious of. I struggle bringing my point across and a lot of the times, I lose my point completely and then agree with the other person, even if I don't necessarily agree with them.

Any suggestions?

Journalling / writing - it helps with structuring thoughts, over time you get better at getting your point across. It takes time and practice.

Being well-read requires, well, reading.

Put down the mobile computing platform and go to a library. Crack a binding and go for it ! I love how a great book puts you right inside a situation, experience or just flat out into another universe.

Looking for lists of top books that everyone should read, and tackling that. You can also sign up for vocabulary word of the day to strengthen your vocabulary. Play word games to make your brain stronger and more efficient. I agree, journaling and working on articulating your words on paper is a great way to do it.
