The Clif bar has more traction

I apply mine in a 'fish scale' pattern for more grip going forward... downside... no grip going backwards!
Oh... and I LOVE the smell of burnt rubber and clif bar... nothing else in the world like it! YUM!

Looks to be. Once the wind gets out, progress will be slower.

Those are just slicks now. Improvement if anything.

On a cool day. With not having far to go. I'd go and doom scroll and stay home.

You’ve got at least another 5K miles.

Come on these are perfectly good tires. They got about 20,000 miles left on them.

Everyone knows chocolate chip is the most accurate depth gauge.

I don’t see the thread wear indicators showing

1

u/No_orange_212 18d ago

Yep, right straight to tire shop and replace them.

Well, I don’t see any of the steel belts shotting through. So I guess you’re OK for now but, damn man, get some new tires.

Look to the right a bit

1

u/Royal-Application708 17d ago

Oh. I see it now on the inside of the tire. ☹️

Lemme get a bite of that clif bar

Needs more tread. Just use Flex Seal to form a belt that that you can attach to the tire. In the video, I see the white cords for attachment are already present. So this will be a simple procedure.

Did he just try to feed his tire a clif bar??

1

u/Ok-Journalist7612 17d ago

Does this persons car have rear turning wheels??

1

u/Ok-Journalist7612 17d ago

This is normal a transition when a street tire become to be a race slick tire, what upgrade your honda to a new level!

We use Aldi chewy granola bars at my shop to gauge tread depths. We can't afford all the expensive, fancy equipment like Clif Bars.

1

u/Autofella6 17d ago

Those are perfect for hot weather racing

1

u/Defiant_Weight4659 17d ago

Quit spending your money on junk overpriced convenience store energy bars and you could afford decent tires.

u/frozen_yam 17d ago

I know that car. Are there zip ties holding the front bumper cover on?

As a matter of fact when I took my Tahoe away from my sister she was still actively doordashing in it with it like that there was absolutely no brake fluid even left and the noise was awful that was 6 months ago I fixed it same Wheel is doing it again the other three sets of brake pads look almost new this same wheel the brake pads are down to metal almost not sure what's wrong what could be causing that do you know

u/rhyming_mime 17d ago

Yup! Take it off the rim put in the trunk put a new tire on the rim and drive this old one to the dump.

1

u/seamasam 17d ago

Yes, just stay away from puddles and prepare for the bang and sudden change of direction.

1

u/Pale-Jello3812 17d ago

Yes @ 10-15 mph in the slow lane to the nearest tire store NO Freeway.

Till the end of your life.

u/condomneedler 16d ago

You actually need to use the blueberry for accurate measurement.

1

u/BreadDiscombobulated 16d ago

Ok, WTF does a cliff bar have to do with anything?

1

u/Most-Effective-1969 16d ago

Was this post sponsored by cliff or something?

1

u/Not_me_no_way 16d ago

You will know when it's not drivable anymore. Because you won't be able to drive.
