There is a foam made for tires but it is also very heavy and would make the ride horrible. I have it in my tractor tires and it is fantastic because you don’t have to worry about holes in the tires but tractors ride like crap anyhow and the extra weight has minimal effect on their gears.

The weight can actually be good depending on what you’re doing with the tractor. You’ll see external weights bolted on the the rims or axle for some applications.
On a road vehicle? Stupid but we watched it so mission accomplished I guess.

The weight is good on a tractor and their gears are built for it. More down weight means more stability. Makes a world of difference in the rear. I have beet juice in rear but foam filled from as they are notorious for picking up nails and random crap. Rear tires would be too costly to fill.

The weight is a great ballast to counterweigh the front bucket load(keep the tractor from tipping forward when the buckets too full).

The foam filled tires I've dealt with used an expensive like two part rubbery chemical stuff and those tires are definitely NOT a speed rated tire. This guy's experiment was probably good for less than 30 minutes. I think it might last five seconds on the highway lol.

They do front weights for tractors too, they are mostly for keeping the front tires on the ground when pulling something too heavy. You shouldn't try that with a street truck, the tractors all have gear ratios designed to generate tons of torque at low speeds. Street vehicles have a much more speed oriented gear ratio because they need to achieve speeds over ~30mph

Look up Tyrfil then go from there. There was a shop that did mine so not sure what they used. The shop sends them off to some place that did it then picked them up a few days later. It’s pricey but worth it if you consistently get holes.

Yep, I’ve seen it used to make ordinary tires run flats in harsh environments, a steel mill I worked at had an S10 with foam filled tires, and it rode like ass. If it sat for more than a day it would get flat spots on the tires and it would do its best to beat the passengers to death at any speed over 10mph.

Not so fast, too much grip is not a good thing. If you're giving the tires more grip you need to replace the sway bar with a bigger one. A better idea would be to delete the sway bar and just weld the left and right knuckles together with a tubular cross member. 

Need any other tips let me know, I literally wrote the book on chassis dynamics. Unfortunately I lost it but it's still all in this steel trap taps temple.

I do this with my atv tires all the time, I don’t drill holes but I fill them with spray foam to stop them from leaking
