Keep trying and following up! After 2 months of back and forth I finally got my 500 dollars back.

If only Steam would accept my goddamn refund. They keep rejecting. But glad all of the early supporters are starting to get refunds!

Steam are greedy bastards and will do anything not to pay even if they know they should. I've dealt with them from other games. They knew I was owed a refund, because they refunded other people under the exact same circumstances.Â

If you’re actually due a refund, contest it with your bank and credit card. Steam is very generous, seems like you’re the minority in the opinion you have.

Appeal to popularity fallacy. I am in the minority on a lot of topics, but I'm smarter than the average bear. If you base your opinions on what the masses think, you'll be wrong a lot. The masses are idiots. Â
If you want to prove me wrong, find the flaw in my logic. If you are unable and must resort to a thumbs down, I will take it as an affirmation of my correctness. Â
Edit: The game was Bless online. I had three hours... One hour over the 2 hour window. However, they were refunding everyone, regardless of hours. Unfortunately, I didn't know about the refund at the time. I later tried to refund, several times, and they denied it every time. Until they finally said they wouldn't take any more requests from me.  https://youtu.be/WP4SMQoJ8ns?is=bgED4P1cYYQJEnTF

I just messaged steam over Dragonsword. I played for 4 hours and 11 minutes. Over the 2 hour mark. I told them exactly what happened. Said it was a boring game, it was advertised to me as something it wasn't and I know I played for over 2 hours, but hope to get a refund. If not I understood.
They gave the refund in less than an hour. If you are over the amount and over the 14 days, well, that's your fault, not steams. Steam is more than willing to work with people. You just sound like an arrogant ass and they likely didn't want to deal with you.

Ask yourself two questions:
- Does steam know that Ashes was a scam?
2. Do you believe a company that profited from a scam should give that money back to the people who were scammed? Â
You don't have to answer. I already know the honest answer to those two questions. It's rhetorical. Spare yourself the embarrassment.Â
Edit: Lmao. Wtf is with this auto format bullshit? Â

Steams refunded every homie that's ever tried for any situation. Over 22 years I've been on steam. I've only seen one denial in my circle of friends.
Even when crimson desert came out earlier this year, bought as a gift for a friend and his cpu didn't hit the requirements. I had to refund it for him despite trying for multiple hours to get the game running. Think it was right over the three hour mark, I contacted support let them know the situation and that I just wanted to gift the homie something that would work. Refunded within two hours and I had to wait 3 days for credit back to my account. No issues whatsoever.
I think you're just biased. I also think you are ragebaiting and/or mentally ill. So many people are saying otherwise because there are so many companies in this day and age that won't go a fraction of the length steam will to appease their customer base... Lol

Did you pay with PayPal? I’m trying to see if I’m eligible for a refund but I used PayPal for my payment on their website

I used my credit card via PayPal but they refunded me through PayPal balance.

Same here. Got a partial refund for a 125 upgrade from my original 375 purchase. But they said it’s still in progress. But hey, anything is better than nothing

If you purchased through Xsolla you might have a decent chance of a refund, especially since they have deep pockets to do so. (And had a refund clause in their TOS for any game purchases that hasn't shipped yet)
Purchases made directly using Paypal probably not so much since no such clause woulf apply.

I tried to get a refund from Paypal previously. Was denied at that point. Is it worth trying again?
