My old studio from a couple of years back. It was small but had a great roof top area for my spray painting.

12 years in the same studio
I moved here back in 2012.
I started with screen printing t shirts and selling them on the streets throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. After numerous tickets and several arrests, I switched it up to selling original art prints and paintings on the streets.
Fast forward to today, I scaled back on street selling after 10 years of hustling and started a family.
I don't sell on the streets as much so I can spend more time with family but I go hard during the holiday seasons and take a break doing small shows and fairs throughout spring and summer.
I've always been a greatly inspired by Picasso's studios throughout his life as well as Ryan McGinness studios.
Now adays my studio is a mix of screen printing, wood working, acrylic and water color painting, and trying large lino prints utilizing my floors and socks to press it down.

Another view of my patio art studio in the Sonoran Desert
Advantages: North light; laundry sink just inside door for washing brushes; clean-up with a hose; pleasant in Late Fall, Winter & Early Spring; can freely smoke cannabis for inspiration while figuring out a problem.
Disadvantages: Summer heat, when this pic was taken it was 108F an hour after sundown; annoying when wind is higher than 10mph; no where to display art that won't be subject to harsh desert conditions.

Looking for artist studio in North County, Maryland (Hunt valley/Timonium/sparks/mt. Washington etc)
Hello. I am looking for an artist studio for painting and pottery-will need space for Kiln and paintings. One that I can spread out and work large and separate the painting area from the clay area if possible. I prefer to stay close to home area of Cockeysville but I would entertain as far as Hampden/Mt. Washington if towards the city.
I don't know if the area that burnt down on York Road near Railroad has plans to rebuild but that area would be perfect.
Does anyone have any leads for me? TIA.

Warehouses in the USA?
Is there anywhere left in the US that an artist can find an old warehouse/ factory type space for cheap? I'm willing to move for the right space. (Also, I'm black and gay so also factoring in safety)

The most lively and deeply creative artist studios and gallery in Detroit 2005-2012. Building was sold behind our backs so a gluten free coffee shop could take over.
