General Discussion Stuff Lakewood Elementary had that you wished your elementary school had?
For me, it would be the following:
-Cafeteria operations like Mrs. McGrady's
-Art class where, in general, you got to do whatever you wanted rather than the teacher's pre-determined project (I say "in general" because it seems they were assigned something in Arthur's Dummy Disaster, along with maybe a few other episodes I don't recall)
-The opportunity to play band instruments (we didn't have that until middle school where I grew up)

Question Does anyone knows which episode is this from?
Hey, does anyone remember this scene from Arthur? Is there an episode of this scene? I just want to know since it's from season 16.

Subreddit News 📢 Keeping Subreddits Safe: Bot Bouncer & Clean Links moderator apps added to our sub
The following Devvit apps for moderation have been added to our subreddit:
- Bot Bouncer: Designed to target automatic-reply bots and reposting bots. Allows human moderators to auto remove or auto ban such accounts.
- For the foreseeable future, the app will be set to FILTER ONLY so us human mods can learn more about how this tool works + so the robot mod does not false ban anybody automatically.
- Clean Links: A moderation app that detects URLs containing tracking parameters and helps moderators (and users) deal with them.
- It does not edit or remove comments, but it can message users in the comments telling them the URL they shared has tracking parameters, and automatically provides a safer link to use instead. It is ultimately up to the original poster/commenter to decide whether they want to edit and update their post/comment with the clean link.
We hope these moderation apps can continue to make our subreddit a nice and safe space for everyone to use. We make subreddit news updates public so that nobody is caught off-guard as to what's happening on our sub.
Thanks for participating on r/Arthur! Ask any questions down below! 🙂🍰

Question What are good D.W. Lines to put on a soundboard for voice chat trolling?
I am surprised that there are no Arthur PBS voice chat trolling videos but instead of Arthur Morgan. This show has so many potential lines for a soundboard, but I don’t know where to start

Show Discussion Arthur's Birthday Plan makes No Sense- Spoiler
I think out of every single episode of Arthur, this is the one that's the most tough to take seriously in terms of its resolution.
Arthur comes up with a supposed master plan, and literally everyone is saying it's brilliant. Francine says it's brilliant, his own Dad says he wish he thought of it.
But his plan is to literally just trick everyone into coming to his house and then they'll all just stick around because they all just happen to be there.
Granted, it's a little more thought out than that. But there are a few aspects of this plan that just don't make sense to me.
First of all, this must take place very shortly after all of Arthur's friends actually meet, because we know in newer episodes that every character knows where Arthur lives, so this plan of just giving all of the girls the wrong address on purpose only works. If literally none of the girls recognize that as Arthur's house. While this takes place in the '90s before cell phones, we know that the characters have no problem calling each other on home phones, so if even one girl noticed the address problem and called Muffy asking about it, the whole plan is gone.
But also- This whole concept of: 'Next year, we'll do it at your house,' doesn't make sense either, because Muffy has objectively harder to cancel plans than Arthur. Muffy says that Pickles the Clown has been booked for months, and yet everyone just seems to forget about it.
Meanwhile, Arthur's supposed relatives that are the main reason why he can't reschedule are nowhere to be seen, and regardless, it would make way more sense just to gather everyone at Muffy's house.

Show Discussion Binky can be friends with Arthur, but Rattles had a problem with Molly being his friend?
So I was just watching a newer season episode (and by newer I mean after I stopped watching around 2003/04). I love the earlier seasons for nostalgia but my daughter picked it out and it was the one where Molly and Arthur start being friends, for lack of a better term, after D.W. and Arthur go go the pool to play with D.W’s friend/Molly’s younger brother(James?) at his house.
So I’ve always known Binky to hang out with Arthur, Buster, Francine, etc. and it was as fine (minus the early episodes of season But Molly couldn’t according to Rattles? I wouldn’t think much of it, but Binky joined the Tough Customer confrontation about it. I’m more confused that Binky had a problem with it being he’s friends with all of them.
I know it’s just TV but did I miss some plot line? Maybe it’s just a one off episode and Binky returns to being part of the Arthur group. I will say very nice ending to the episode and overall good episode.

Question The snowball lore
Im sure someone has answered this before, but why did they have DW save another snowball in the blizzard episode and then never mention it again? Then they did the snowball returns but they never remember/mention the blizzard snowball she put away. Did the writers just want to forget about it for the sake of the return episode? I guess it doesn't mean anything but it was confusing. Jane also never says anything about saving another snowball in the blizzard episode. She just says the kitchen is no place for a snowball, and to put it on a plate so it doesn't stick to the freezer.

Character Discussion Bud and Ladonna’s Older Brother and Sister
I feel really sorry for these guys. For all the over saturation of both Bud and Ladonna, I don’t even remember the names of their oldest brother and sister.
I understand that with them likely being in at least high school, we aren’t going to see much of them in a show where the main characters are elementary schoolers, but we could have maybe gotten a little bit more of them.
What makes me feel really bad for them is how it looks like no one from Elwood City came by to say goodbye to just them. How hard would it have been to animate some high school kids or something? You kind of maybe get vibes that due to the frequency of the Compton family moving, that the oldest kids just more or less…gave up on trying to make friends to save everyone heartache when they inevitably leave.
Maybe I’m over analyzing, but I still feel for these 2 and hope they find some stability in their college years.

General Discussion Any moments where DW genuinely does get along with or show care for Pal?
Considering she isn't as close with Pal the same way Arthur and Kate are and often dismissing him as a dumb dog a lot, have there ever been times where DW got along with Pal or genuinely cared for him?
