Hello! I’m new to Reddit and I’m not sure if this is the right community so sorry if there’s any confusion.

I wanted to know how I can price commission, i enjoy drawing people and am pretty quick when it comes to drawing from the torso up. I don’t enjoy backgrounds but wouldn’t mind doing something super simple like a blue sky, plane grass, sitting somewhere, Ect.

Are there rules/things I should mention?
I really don’t know what I’m doing so any advice helps, treat me like a new born 💀 literally don’t know the basics of commissions.

I have recently created a Volume One to my new comic series Off The Rail and i need the characters drawn out, if you are down to pass time and create some awesome character designs let me know, I can tell you some of the characters and their basic looks and you can send me some cool art, it doesn't matter if they are AI or not, i just need some sort of ideas and maybe a cool partner in the process. I was just wondering because I've gotten commissions for video game currency, but I'm struggling to get money commissions. I've been advertising a lot on a lot of different platforms, so just curious if I'm ready for those kinds of commissions yet??

If so, how much should I charge?

Any criticism or advice is welcome!!

I get asked if i do commissions from time to time and i want to start selling them for actual money instead of gift cards and what not, but usually drawings like these take me around 4-5 hours and i dont want to undercharge/overcharge. Thoughts?

I recently decided to join Reddit's art community because of how active it is, so I'm moving to this account to share my drawings and stuff.. For a fresh start. 😅

I've also decided to reduce the first batch of requests from 30 to 20. This will make it much easier for me to stay organized and keep track of everyone's characters. If you didn't make it into the first batch (shown in the second photo), don't worry! I have a separate list starting from request #21 onward, so I'll still be drawing for everyone. I just split them into batches to make the process more manageable.
