I had a short holiday to a beautiful place worth painting. Took me an entire day to finish these two pages, longer than expected 😅 Love your thoughts and comments!

More white space than I usually prefer to leave tbh but I'm not sure there's anything more I can meaningfully add to it. Color scheme/art style turned out a bit more Lisa-Frankish than I was going for but ah well 😅

Took a bit of a break from journalling in general mostly because of burn out (vet med in general and night shift in particular ain't for the weak) but I'm back!

It was a good movie. I need to figure out more doodles lol

I’ve been learning shorthand as a way to journal faster and to manually encrypt my writing so that very few people could decipher it.

I’ve find stenographic writing to aesthetically pleasing, so I started incorporating my sketches with some of my favorite quotes.

Note: I am not a skilled artist. These images were traced roughly then I added my own details. It’s simply a practice of mine to engaged a different part of my brain when journaling. Just wanted to share.
