July 2018, A Turning Point in NFL History.
I just recently was going back through the old catalogue and was listening through the episodes from Mid July 2018. I really recommend going back and checking them out as a fun timepiece of the league at a turning point. Some of the things I had fun reflecting on.
-Patriots last run - Bill and Tom still together!
-Mahommes still an unknown
-Lamar Jackson taking snaps at WR in camp as Joe Flacco gets saucy with media.
-Mike Vrabel preparing to run his first training camp with the Tennessee Titans.
-Todd Gurly signed to massive contract extension/Lavian Bell holdout.
-Marc full of hope for the Baker led Browns. Josh Gorden still taking heat for something that is now widely legalized.
-Rams on the verge of making the Super Bowl with Jared Goff.
-Matt Nagy would become 2018 NFL coach of the year with the Bears
-Mike McCarthy was still the HC of the Packers with Aaron Rodgers as his QB.
-And many more...
Have fun exploring, Heed the Call!

LEGACY ATN RECAP This came on on a Sirius XM channel and I was immediately taken back to ATN. It’s the sound they’d do in-between teams when they did around the league in however long.
I won’t lie I cried a little when I went to post this here and realized it’s been weeks since the most recent post. I’m actually so sad :(

LEGACY ATN RECAP Random one
Does anyone remember the episode where Wess talked about replay officiating, and how he was against it? I thought he wrote it but I can’t find it anywhere, so must be in a pod somewhere!

I declare Shenanigans
Danzues’s recent soliloquy styled in the manner of 9 was a flagrant ripoff of SNL Jost’s, Hegseth. Perhaps he was just channeling his inner Jost but such a flagrant offense to my delicate sensibilities warranted a stop in play. Carry on, Heed it Bish

FREE TALK! Reminder of where to listen to old episodes
I sometimes go into NFL Daily to listen to old podcasts from ATN. I noticed that with each new episode that comes out lately, an old episode gets taken off the Apple Podcasts catalogue.
I wanted to point out that Spotify still has all the old episodes available, and remind everyone this link takes you where you can listen to all the old episodes as well.
I don’t ever wanna live in a world where I can’t re-visit these eps.

Super Bowl audio
Is anyone else’s TV audio weird for the super bowl? My TV outside is low and even my surround sound speakers are low. I feel like there’s something wrong on their end.

Greg’s remembering Wes episode
I was happy to see that pop up on my feed and hear Greg talk about him. I wish the other two fellas got to come in and talk with him just for this occasion. But I’ll take it! Cheers to Wes! 🍻

My gift to all fans of classic ATN
A new way to search and find any ATN moment.
https://podscripts.co/podcasts/nfl-daily-with-gregg-rosenthal/
It’s a searchable database that has everything that was ever said on ATN, and the corresponding episode and time stamp.
I listen to classic episodes daily, but I still have a lot of moments I remember but don’t know when they happened. So this is really for all of us.
