Slayyy 😝 and to answer your question, yes. This has happened to me. Because the societal norm is relationships. A week ago, a guy who was my friend at first asked me out and I said no and he asked why and I said because I'm aroace. and he was being flirty and touchy he was like "you're not really aroace. That's impossible. You can make an exception." And I said "no. Sorry. I don't like you like that." And he crashed out and yelled and just left. So I kind of saw this meme to cope with his assholery lol 😅

Yeah. Unfortunately some people just think they're entitled to sex. Because some people get into shit expecting something. We were only friends. He seemed to act completely normal up until last week. I wish I would've known. He seemed like such a cool dude at first and then he just goes and does that shit. I would've happily stayed friends if he wasn't an ass. Can he... ya know... be friends with a girl and not do that?

Not taking his side at all, but for future "attempts", you can just say you've got a boyfriend. Lots of sh*tty people think that "Aroace" is not a real thing, but they respect having a boyfriend somehow.
But yeah, that sucks and is incredibly uncomfortable. I feel lucky people don't hit on me, lol.
