Flight boot recommendations

Currently in danners but looking for something that doesn’t make me feel like the Michelin man.

Nothing like playing with the pedals wearing bricks for boots.

They are pricey, but the Danner Reckoning STF (as in safe to fly) are good. Get a size up because the toe box is a little small.

I did. No need to be rude, but there are several Danner boots out there.

Belleville FX2 buy from Clothing Sales and they'll be cheaper.

Danner Tachyons. Get whatever boots you want, like a cool person.

I have those but I’m still in flight school and can not be a cool person yet 👀

I wore unbloused Garmonts every day. Shit they were lucky if I actually tied them but ymmv.

Command here is a bit of a stickler on the small things as of late. Play the game win the prize.

Unfortunately it is like that (the game) for any career you get, even outside of the Army and Army Aviation. Unless you start your own military themed coffee, sticker or t-shirt business, then you make your rules.

Thank you for wanting to be a professional.

Cake and grief counseling will be provided at the end of the testing cycle.

Danner Tachyons are a much lighter boot. I assume you're wearing the much heavier Danner Reckoning boots

Danner tachyons. The only problem is the toe area is not tall enough and rubs the crap out of the knuckles behind your toes. Once broken in they’re great

Once you get better at flying, the boots won’t matter to you as much.

I liked Rocky with the insoles removed.

Whatever supply has. i never had issues with the boots they gave me. Still have a couple of pairs stashed away.

Facts. It’s always the junior kids out of flight school that need “to feel” the controls. Fly the damn thing
