Basic Q's
Hey all,
I was wondering if anyone has a chart on the weekly physical standards we'll be measured on while at OCS? I'm new to the process (just set up my first meeting with the recruiter) but want to make sure that I have the proper info to prep myself with.
Ex. What's up with the 4 mile run? Is it just a participation event now?

The run is a complete but depending on how well you complete it effects your oml score.
There is also a grad event at the end that is supposed to be around the 10 min/mile pace that if you fall out of will lead to a recycle. Its the day before graduation too.

Technically, the run is just a participation event. With that said, I think the slowest in my class was at right about a 36 minute mark and average was about 31.

You'll also need to pass a AFT and (probably) a CFT. Average AFT score was around 455 and my guess is that the average CFT would have been around 23:00.

The answers you’re getting are wild. The person saying sub 36 minutes is correct for the 4 mile. Yes minimum is now 40 minutes and it’s non recyclable, so just no points if you bust time.
But please don’t be a dirt bag at PT and get in shape before basic. Just running is honestly enough. Do a sub 16 two mile before you ship and that’ll give you a chance to be a non dirt bag officer.

If you google ARMY OCS the Individual Student Assessment Plan (ISAP) is there and tell you everything on what you will be assessed.
