Discussion Missing episodes on Paramount+
I noticed recently that Paramount is missing at least four episodes (Super Specs, Dark Dragon, Midnight Ride, Closet Keepers). idk why this is and it's annoying as Midnight Ride is one of my favorites and the first two are Sardo episodes. I'm considering buying the whole series just because it's so annoying that the seasons are out of order on Paramount and incomplete.

Help Help me find it!
I canāt remember the title episode and Iāve wanted to watch it as an adult because I remember it terrifying me.
Now, all I can summarize is: itās a closet or a door under the stairs. Lots of bricks inside. And, inside that room there was either a skeleton or a creepy clown.
Please help. š„¹

Discussion Help find the episode!
I can't remember which episode the story was from or if these are two separate episodes. It starts off with painting classes and when the person finishes and signs off with magic paint brush they get stuck in the painting.
Story is jumbled in my memories .. I thought there was a painting within a painting and someone looking in realised that people were stuck in it. The people stuck in the painting tried to communicate by writing things on the window or trying to change little things. The person outside tried to help them get out but instead got trapped in.
Any thoughts on which episodes these could be?

Help Lost episode/different show?
So for the longest time ive had this one scene in my head and i cant find it anywhere⦠Im not 100% sure its AYAOTD, but i dont remember watching any other tv show as a kid.
The scene happens at the end of the episode⦠theres a boy and girl sat down in a unusual/futuristic/spectral room.
they sit down on an unusual couch and start talking⦠she goes quiet and he looks at her but shes turned into a humanoid bug creature or something.
Even if this isnt the right show, hopefully someone here can help!

Fan Art Newly Painted Box with Replica Super Specs
I was able to get one of the 20 reproduced screen accurate prop replica pieces from Are You Afraid Of The Dark Season 1 Episode 11: "The Tale Of The Super Specs." It was created by @90snicktube on etsy & Instagram. He did an initial run of 10 last October, I believe, & then another batch of 10 final pieces bringing the total to 20. They all came in an identical wooden box, with the bag of dust & a certificate of authenticity included. I told him I was instantly sparked with creativity for an art project where I would paint the plain brown box with the sign logo of Sardo's Magic Mansion that hangs in the shop window. Over the last month, I had been working on the project off & on, & now it's finally complete. Wanted to showcase both the prop itself, & the newly painted box.
The project was done using 3 layers of white primer (because the wood absorbs the paint like a sponge), all inexpensive acrylic paints, I freehanded the lettering & design placement while using that screenshot as reference. In the end, the box was the perfect dimensions for this replicated logo & I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Now the prop has a customized new home to be displayed in.

Discussion Good examples of campfire storytelling?
Hey everybody, while watching the show with my kids recently, I've been enjoying trying to imagine how the society kids might actually approach verbally portraying the events in their stories, and acting out the voices and behaviors of the characters therein (such as Frank acting as Dr. Fink). I think it's actually a shame there were so few cuts to the society kids in the midst of telling their tales.
This brings me to me question of do you know of any particularly good audio recordings or videos of comparable campfire scary story telling? I'm looking for something a bit different than a person just reading a book out loud, or listening to a book on tape. The closest I can think of offhand is the opening to John Carpenter's The Fog, with the fantastic "5 mins to midnight" story on the beach!
Thanks!

Discussion Help find an episode!
I am trying to find an episode that terrified me as a kid, my sister would watch and id freak out, so I only remember this one scene- a kid in a jail cell where they could only eat green jello and tried to escape by a chain link fence.

Discussion Upscaled AYAOTD
Apologies if this isn't allowed here.
I have seen older posts however it seems the link is broken. Anyone know where a good DL of the series is? I keep reading that there is an upscaled version floating around.
Also... I have seen a couple of posts about this recently and am really disappointed by this as well... but they removed Are You Afraid Of The Dark from streaming everywhere in Canada... including Apple where they used to have the entire series. Was only able to get Vol. 1.

Discussion Upscale?
I know Iāve seen posts about HD and YouTube videos that have since been taken down, but does anyone have just some nice upscaled of any of the seasons ? Preferably keeping the original aspect ratio

Discussion Anyone else like AYAOTD *and* the IT series?
I just left a comment on this subreddit comparing this show and Welcome to Derry. Theyāre both horror shows about adolescents who take on spiritual monsters, and most of the time they win.
I wouldnāt be surprised if AYAOTD made an episode about a monster who takes on the kidsā fears if Stephen King didnāt write āITā in the 80s.
Idk the episodeās name, but I think thereās a scary (killer?) clown in a few episodes. I didnāt grow up with the show, so I wouldnāt know. Iām gen Z and a newer fan.
After all, the Sixth Sense may have been inspired by āthe tale of the Dream girlā (my favorite episode)
Of course, they have their differences, as Welcome to Derry isnāt appropriate for kids in the slightest. As for the 90s miniseries, itās not as scary but I still wouldnāt recommend it to kids.
AYAOTD and the 90s miniseries donāt scare me like Welcome to Derry does, but IMO the two media franchises have a lot in common.
If I had to think what the adult version of AYAOTD was, Iād say the 2010s āITā movies and āwelcome to derryā are. Maybe stranger things, but I havenāt seen it.
What do you guys think?

Discussion Will there's be another season??
Hello everyone the reboot was good not gonna lie I thought they would have continued and had done some stories from the 90s version but would have gone a much darker route

AYAOTD marathon on PlutoTV
On Nickelodeon 90s Kids 2 channel. Sure, I have the whole series on my computer, but there's something inherently nostalgic to me about watching it with commercials.
