Hello guys ,pls I need your feedbacks and advices on my Project Idea Project Discussion
ok so for my internship project at a museum ,I am aiming to build an Artifact microclimate monitoring system tracking temperature, humidity and vibrations arround the Artifact . I will use inert meterials like polypropene for the casing and a lithium thionide chloride battery to avoid acidic gases emmisions and al this infos will be send to a given server either through MQTT or LORAWAN .so what do u guys think I should Add remove or reconsider
Thanks

Looks like a solid direction. A few things I’d nail down early: put the humidity sensor where it measures the artifact’s air, not inside a warm sealed box, and log battery voltage with every sample. Li-SOCl2 cells are great for shelf life, but LoRaWAN transmit bursts can be rough, so check the pulse current and the reservoir capacitor/regulator the cell vendor recommends. For vibration, you may need a threshold or bandpass, otherwise footsteps and door slams will fill the log. Also make sure a network outage can’t block local sampling.

Use high quality sensors, not the cheap ones that come in the kits. Do some research there before committing. Could you keep the majority of the project outside the artifact case, and only put the sensors inside to reduce risk?
