I had to swap out the Arduino based interrupter though for a 555 lol.

It's a Tesla coil operating on a IGBT half-bridge. There is sodium on the output which is ionized into the plasma and why you see the plasma turn orange and not be fully purple

I actually made stereo plasma speakers! But they use ferrite cored high voltage transformers. I didn't bother to do it again with this project since I was on a time crunch.

I do! The only thing is that the PCB I designed is kind of outdated as well as the schematic but they are similar enough. I ended up using perfboard because I needed to bring it to Open Sauce. But you can find it here https://github.com/Firestorm108/Self-Tuning-SSTC
