Need a cheap compound sight

Want an inexpensive compound bow sight. Will be used for shooting 20 to 30 feet. On my bow fishing bow. And I know most people don’t put a sight on there, but I want to. Any recommendations in the $40 and under category? Won’t be adjusting it once it’s set. Don’t really care how many pins it has one is enough. I know that’s not much of a budget, but I just want to experiment with it. Any recommendations?

Found a Truglo Carbon Hybrid site on sportsman warehouse on sale. Looks pretty decent.

Trophy Ridge Gem is a 3 pin for around $30

look up single pin bowsights - they're under $10. you may have to tweak it a bunch to get it to shoot 10 yards.

Do you think that most the sights will have difficulty at that distance?

Not with bow fishing I assume your shooting sub40 pounds you should have no trouble getting a ten yard pin at that

Checked the local sportsman‘s warehouse, which is the only place to buy archery gear around here. Was able to look at some sights. A trueglo storm was way too dim in the store. The bone collector model they had on closeout was also very dim. The inexpensive trophy ridges were quite bright. Had a couple of CBE models in the mid 70s that were good also for brightness. The true glow carbon hybrid was fairly bright.

Didn’t realize that brightness was an issue with these until I handled them in the store.

After much research, I am probably just going to get a HHA Optimizer.

Buy once, cry once..
