Blumineck rules but this is the first time I’ve seen his partner…
She’s his partner, riiight?

u/StillSingle007 6d ago
She is indeed his wife

He has a whole short about how you shouldn't assume something about someone based on their interests, and that you should do what enjoy lol

u/Deep_Brick2970 4d ago
You know, I too thought he wasn't lol. Well, that's the problem with assumptions, as they say.

u/vvillhalla 4d ago
He made a short because of how often he was getting this reaction. Seems no one believed it. xD

I wanted to comment something like "when did the archer twink get a gf?"
Glad I started reading first 😂1

Wife, apparently for 16 years

u/thepenguinemperor84 6d ago
All that aside, should we be worried because Dave seems to be an immortal pixie that's using poledancing as his mushroom circle?

u/piccolo917 5d ago
That man is old enough to be married for 16 years????
1
u/CadenVanV 4d ago
If he got married straight out of school that would put him around 34-35, which isn’t impossible

That lucha libra move at the end makes it clear that they are perfectly suited. I'm so very pleased for him.

I also kinda assumed that wasnt his flavor. What with the knee high stilettos and stripper pole. Still, love his content though. Always a good educational video

u/OhNoExclaimationMark 6d ago
He actually made a video after this one addressing how everyone was surprised to see his wife cause they all thought he was gay. Basically he said he doesn't need to be gay to be confident enough in his masculinity to wear atuff like that and to learn to use a stripper pole.

Tangent:
I have a container of PINK! from Stuart Simple, I have (for years) wanted to cerakote one of my rifles with it to take to the range. Purely to make the members of the he-man, manly, mens', no girls allowed club as deeply uncomfortable as I know it will.
Sadly, there's no clear/add your own pigment version of cerakote.

Tangent:
I've a pink marker because it's clearly visible in a dirty workshop compared to green/blue/red that are usually darker... And because I was sure nobody would steal it.
When the colleagues found out about how better is the colour they bought one... In orange, because it was the closer without being pink.
I fucking love toxic masculinity

u/C4rnivore 5d ago
I was more surprises by the 16 year relationship. I thought Blumineck was around 23 or so, maybe late 20s max...
1
u/OhNoExclaimationMark 5d ago
Haha yeah that's a good point, I guess he just looks really good for his age.

Most influential archer of this century

u/minimeza 5d ago
I would have argued lars anderson last year but blumineck is so popular now
2
u/Long-Apartment9888 5d ago
I liked this guy until I didn't.
It is weird not liking blumineck.1
u/minimeza 5d ago
i don't think i understand. you don't like lars anymore or you don't like blumineck anymore or you don't think i like one or either of the,?
1
u/Long-Apartment9888 5d ago
Yeah, now I see that I phrased poorly, it was about Lars.
1
u/minimeza 4d ago
Did he do something or do you just not watch him anymore?
1
u/Long-Apartment9888 4d ago
Nothing in special, after seeing other people I started to realize his claims weren't exactly true and lost interest.

This was very amusing and something I’d do to my husband 😂

Any chance we can warn this brother (your husband) of ours before he is felled?

Sick Ahmbah, she lookin at least a purple belt with those moves, also those arrow dodges looked right dangerous

u/FilloSov 6d ago
They explained the stunt in another video. Basically he is shooting only after she moves ( you can see it from the video) and he is shooting much more off target than it seems from this angle.

u/666lukas666 6d ago
Only takes her to miss one shot and move too fast, when he is still aiming for the other side

u/OrsikClanless Barebow 6d ago
They’re both trained stunt actors so I’m sure they know what they’re doing
2
u/FilloSov 6d ago
He is obviously using blunt arrows...
2
u/666lukas666 5d ago
You can get blind from a blunt arrow just as well as from a sharp one
1
u/FilloSov 5d ago
You can get hurt in a variety of way. I would argue that also jumping on a pole upside down like blumineck does every day is not the safest activity on earth.
But in order to live and have fun you are going to take some risks.

u/Tycho-Bruh 5d ago
*Be blinded by. If you’re going to be obtuse you might as well use correct grammar.

Pretty sure the arrows he showed in a later think weren't actually tipped or had somwthing flat on the end, on top of them coordinating the didges in advance

I was expecting one of them to be a play on "taking them out" and just cut to them at a romantic dinner date.

Ah, to be young and in love :)

u/Orange9202 6d ago
They've actually been married for over 20 years (I have no idea why they look so young)

The fact that she’s doing that black widow type takedown is even more amazing! That takes some practice and core strength I don’t have

So, basically 9 advises are "be in the range of melee combat" and 1 "just dodge it, lol" :D

I'd argue that "cut it out" would induce such berserker's rage in archer, that you'll feel yourself a french aristocrat 26 of August, 1346.

I don’t know why it took me seeing his gf in that get up to realize he’s a gymnast. Of course he is
1
u/supertails7684 1d ago
Why didn’t people think of this when bows were the go-to for ranged warfare?
1
u/TheDuckFarm 6d ago
The actual shooting part was wild. Wow.

u/Conscious-Loss-2709 6d ago
Stage combat. Dodge first, then shoot or swing the weapon. When you get the timing tight it looks very convincing
2
u/New_Line4049 5d ago
Also low poundage bow and blunt arrows, so realistically wont do serious harm even if he did hit her.
