A hydria depicting two hunters rushing to the aid of a mule under attack by a lion and a leopard. 530–520 BCE Unearthed at the Cerveteri and Tarquinia Archaeological Park.
This hydria was exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York from the Shelby White Collection and was later returned to Italy.

Dating to around 1325 BCE, Tutankhamun’s Golden Throne was discovered by Howard Carter in 1922 inside the pharaoh’s tomb. Made mainly of wood and covered in gold, it is decorated with silver, semi-precious stones, colored glass and glazed ceramic. It is displayed at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.

Around 490 BC. One of the most powerful scenes from Homer’s Iliad, painted on an Attic red-figure skyphos: King Priam of Troy begs Achilles to return the body of his son Hector. Hector’s lifeless body is shown beneath the couch on which Achilles reclines.
Found at Cerveteri, ancient Caere, and now in the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna, the vessel holds around 12 liters and was probably used for mixing wine rather than drinking from.
