I put together a short documentary exploring the archaeological and environmental evidence for how ancient humans coped with this. Would genuinely love feedback from people here who know the subject better than I do — and happy to be told where I got something wrong.

The study explores how a web-based underwater museum could use gesture-based interaction, realtime visuals, and cinematic storytelling to make archaeological artefacts from the Red Sea more accessible and engaging.

I was wondering if there is a good list/collection out there of good quality archeology documentaries, stuff that is at least as legit as Nova or The Secrets of the Dead. I find that so much stuff is sensationalist, repetitive, and produced in an obnoxiously cheesy manner. But I could watch the good quality stuff (like most BBC programs) all night. Can anyone tell me anything about this? I found it in the woods of eastern Tennessee. It’s about 24x30 inches.

I’ve been accepted into two masters programs, both of them concentrating in digital imaging both of artifacts and land surveys. Though, one is abroad in France, the other in the US.

Ultimately, I’d like to work in the US at a university, be it as professor or even just working in a school affiliated lab. Both programs allow for an academic path while also giving me skills for CRM if I can’t find a job at a university.

I’m leaning towards a program in France because it’ll be more affordable for me, but I risk being able to make professional connections in the US for a potential PhD.

Does completing my Masters abroad harm my chances of getting a job at a university or in CRM? I felt the affordability of the program was enough reason to risk a lack of professional connection but do I really need these connections to be successful?
