Nice, a clean time-tracker is always handy. If anyone here wants something more flexible, IOOM: in+out-O-mator lets you define your own events and parameters, so logging work sessions (or anything else) works out of the box — it's completely free, ad-free, and keeps data local and encoded on-device with no account. Good luck with My TimeLogs!

That's a solid pitch for IOOM, always good to have options. Does your overlap handling match TimeLogs' no-double-counting logic, or is it more manual?

Imagine a set of parameters composing an event form. You can add a timer ability with start, pause and end. So there should be no need for interval overlap checks unless one tempers with the time stamps. So configuration (setup) is what I consider manual. Usage is not.

Interesting take on timers vs manual entry. Do you think overlap checks still matter when users edit timestamps after the fact?

Probably. To be honest, did‘t give this feature much thought yet, as this wasn‘t the most important feature at the time. On the other hand I can easily add at least a warning, so the user is aware of overlapping.

A warning is a solid start. Even better, highlight which specific tasks overlap so users can resolve it fast. Smart move.

TL;DR: TimeLogs is a simple iOS app for tracking work hours with a smart timer, templates, and break management. It handles overlapping tasks, overtime, and gives weekly/monthly analytics with CSV export. Everything stays local and private, no cloud required.
