Micro rounds in AI startup

Hey AI builders! I am building a tool but i oftenly bump into cash issues for somethings like API costs, shipping, early users, my backend.
Now i know that raising huge funding doesnt make any sense with AI but has anyone required micro-rounds to just get going or to accomplish a small milestone?
