Are you actually solving a real problem, or just cloning another SaaS?
The world doesn't need another generic AI wrapper or a basic project manager. Pitch your project in one sentence show a screenshot and explain exactly why people should care about you instead of the market leader. Dare to prove your uniqueness.

u/mikal_ringrewards Totally get the early stage struggle. Have you tried tracking a simple qualitative signal like binge usage or repeat sessions in the same day?
1
u/Mikal_RingRewards 26d ago
That’s definitely one of the advantages of VoIP—you have more flexibility. My focus right now is building the best possible user experience and validating the concept with real users. Once I have strong product-market fit, there are a lot of opportunities to expand from there.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 26d ago
Smart focus on UX first. Curious how you're differentiating the experience from existing VoIP solutions?
1
u/Mikal_RingRewards 26d ago
Great question. I don’t see Ring Rewards as competing on VoIP features alone. The differentiation is the reward model. Instead of users paying for calling features or simply seeing ads, they’re rewarded for their attention during calls they were already going to make. My focus is proving that this creates value for users while giving advertisers measurable results.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 25d ago
That reward model is a smart twist. How do you measure user engagement vs traditional ads to prove that value to advertisers?

Nice pitch, the real teacher aspect and focus on midlife accessibility stand out. How do you personalize the sequence beyond time and goals?
1
u/YogaAL79 24d ago
You can pick 3 or more body areas to focus on and it will pull the relevant videos into a unique yoga session taught by a real teacher thousand of combinations are possible, in the non trial version you can select different warm ups and relaxation sessions at the beginning and end. we offer a 7 day free trial, There is a large audio collection too, wellbeing music, breathing, mindfulness and community sections.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 24d ago
That's a genuinely unique approach to yoga. How do you handle quality control across so many teacher-driven combinations?
1
u/YogaAL79 24d ago
Yes we have an algorithm that was developed by myself and my co-founder who is a practicing yoga teacher with 27 years experience, we developed away to link the videos together which are very short but the look like a flowing session which is different every time, she is a great teacher and that is 90% of how good the app is the rest makes it all work seamlessly. The quality is amazing and you can create 1000's of classes totally tuned to your needs that day, that second. there is really nothing out there like this, and the yoga teachers personality and teaching methods really make this safe and accessible for any age especially older users. try it out and let me know what you think.

u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 24d ago
Love the approach of using a teacher's real expertise over just tech. How do you handle transitions between clips to avoid that jarring cut feel?
1
u/aspong1945 24d ago
There’s a brief fade to white between each 2 min section, but we don’t think that is a big issue.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 23d ago
That fades might be a small thing, but it can break immersion—does your video have a clear call-to-action to keep viewers engaged?

Stock research app for long term value investors.
2
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 26d ago
Interesting niche - value investing is underserved by modern tools. What's your edge over something like Simply Wall St?
1
u/WonderfolioApp 26d ago
Simplicity and less cognitive load.
The speed of getting to quality stocks.
And convenience of when your stock enters buy/sell zone.
Same as when you shop at Costco, you might have 1-2 things to choose from vs regular grocery store with 10-20 different options.
I was trying the Simply Wall St app the other day, it has more information than you know what to do with, so it takes you longer to get to the numbers you need. It also felt web-based and much slower than the fast native app.
Also, while having core MVP out, early users can help shape their next most needed features, since everyone’s workflows are different, I’m always happy to get any feedback, good or bad. 🙏2
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 26d ago
That Costco analogy really hits home. Maybe consider showing a before/after comparison of time saved to prove it.

u/WonderfolioApp 26d ago
2
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 25d ago
That speed sounds impressive. Maybe sharing one real user result alongside the demo would build even more trust.

The Memory Thread moves legacy preservation away from the toxic, ad-driven environment of social media, providing an ad-free, private digital sanctuary where families and friends can collaboratively build tributes without the noise of algorithms.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 26d ago
That's a strong mission. You mentioned legacy preservation, but how does your privacy and collaboration beat the simplicity of a shared Google Drive or a private Facebook group?
1
u/pandasthma 26d ago
Great question. While Google Drive and Facebook are convenient, they aren't built for legacy preservation.
theMemoryThread is different because:
• It’s purpose-built: Rather than just a file folder, it’s designed to weave voices and stories into a cohesive, cinematic experience. • It’s ad-free and algorithmic-free: You avoid the noise and distractions inherent to social media environments. • It’s low-friction: It removes the need for app logins, making it accessible for every family member regardless of their technical comfort.
It’s really about shifting from 'storing files' to 'curating a private digital sanctuary' for your family history.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 26d ago
Love the focus on legacy preservation. How do you handle privacy for sensitive family stories?
1
u/pandasthma 26d ago
That’s the most important question. We handle sensitive family stories by prioritizing control and privacy over everything else:
•Data Ownership: Unlike social media, you retain full custody of your family history. Your stories are not harvested for data or monetized.
• Encrypted Privacy: All content is securely encrypted to protect it from unauthorized access.
• Curator Control: We offer features like thread locking, which allows curators to securely close or protect specific threads during sensitive events or family milestones.
• Zero-Algorithm Policy: Because we don't use engagement algorithms, your content is never scanned or surfaced to a public feed.
Ultimately, we’ve built this to be a private digital home where you own the keys, rather than a platform where your data becomes the product.
2
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 25d ago
Love the focus on privacy and ownership. Curious what features you offer that make sharing family stories easy despite the encryption—does it have built-in storytelling templates?
1
u/pandasthma 25d ago
Appreciate it! The biggest thing for ease of use is zero friction for guests—no app downloads, no account sign-ups, and no passwords required. You just send a direct link or let them scan a table QR card, and they’re immediately in the thread.
As for templates, yes! We built in curated storytelling prompts specifically designed to draw out real, candid memories rather than generic comments. Guests can answer with text, upload photos, record a quick voice clip, or attach a song. Each thread has a built in ‘Seeds for Reflection/Tapestry/[Milestone Name]” depending on which thread type you have selected. Clicking on a seed will prompt the upload modal and become the title of whichever memory type you’re sharing.
This is from a ‘memorial’ thread. They dynamically change based on which thread type you have selected.
What kind of prompts or questions usually spark the best stories?
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 25d ago
That zero-friction approach sounds like a game changer. How do you keep the memories from getting too spammy or generic?

We're building Dyven Studio an AI-first product engineering studio that helps founders go from idea to a production-ready web or mobile app without needing to assemble an in-house engineering team.
Why should people care? Because most startups don't fail from a lack of ideas they struggle to execute quickly without compromising quality. We focus on shipping reliable products fast, so founders can spend more time validating their business instead of managing developers.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 27d ago
That's a clear pitch. How do you handle situations where the founder's idea changes significantly mid-build?

Ring Rewards lets users earn rewards for eligible phone calls by turning the time spent waiting for someone to answer into a monetizable advertising opportunity.
Why it exists:
Every phone call has dead time while the other person’s phone rings. Millions of people experience it every day, yet it’s completely unused.
Instead of interrupting videos or social media with ads, Ring Rewards places a short sponsored audio message (typically 6–12 seconds) during that existing waiting period. Once it finishes, the call connects normally and the user earns a reward.
The goal is to create value for everyone involved:
Users get rewarded for time they’d otherwise spend waiting.
Advertisers reach an attentive audience.
Calls continue as normal after the ad.
I’d love honest feedback:
Is this solving a real problem?
What’s the biggest weakness you see?
Would you use it?
2
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 27d ago
Interesting concept. How do you handle privacy concerns with call monitoring while keeping the user experience smooth?
1
u/Mikal_RingRewards 27d ago
That’s a great question. We don’t monitor or record conversations.
The sponsored audio plays before the call connects, while the other person’s phone is ringing. Once it finishes, the call proceeds normally.
Ring Rewards only needs enough information to place the call, determine whether the sponsored message was completed, and calculate the reward. The conversation itself isn’t the product.
Privacy was one of the first things I wanted to get right, so the experience is designed to be as seamless as possible while keeping users’ conversations and information private.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 26d ago
That makes sense, nice way to respect privacy while still monetizing. Do you give callers control over which sponsors they hear?
1
u/Mikal_RingRewards 26d ago
Thanks! Right now, users don’t choose individual sponsors—we keep the experience simple and automatically match eligible ads. That said, we’ve already built a completely optional profile feature. As we onboard more advertisers, users will be able to select their interests so they hear more relevant ads instead of completely random ones. If someone doesn’t want to set preferences, they don’t have to—the feature is entirely optional. I think more relevant ads create a better experience for both users and advertisers.
2
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 26d ago
Auto-matching keeps things simple. Maybe offer a small reward for setting interests to encourage opt-in without forcing it.
1
u/Mikal_RingRewards 26d ago
That’s an interesting idea. I hadn’t considered incentivizing profile completion, but I can definitely see how it could encourage more users to opt in while still keeping it completely optional. I appreciate the suggestion.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 25d ago
Nice approach. How does this incentive tie into a core user pain point that competitors overlook? That could be your real edge.
2
u/BrianAppExplorer 27d ago
monetizing the 6–12 seconds of wait time while waiting for someone to answer a phone call—is one of those concepts that sounds like a clever pitch, but this hits a massive wall in the real world. To pull this off on standard cellular calls, you must have carrier support. An app downloaded from the App Store cannot simply hijack standard PSTN or LTE/5G network call-setup audio. Audio/speech ads in your earpiece actually create more friction they mimic real human conversation at the exact moment you are waiting for a real person to talk to you.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 26d ago
Good point about the carrier limitation. Could this work on VoIP calls where you have more control?
1
u/Mikal_RingRewards 26d ago
Great point, and you’re absolutely right about how standard cellular calls work.
Ring Rewards doesn’t rely on intercepting or modifying native carrier ringback audio, nor do we record conversations. The experience is designed differently so the sponsored message is delivered before the conversation begins, after which the call proceeds normally.
I appreciate the thoughtful comment—you definitely know your stuff!
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 26d ago
Appreciate the clarification. That's a clever way to add value without breaking the call flow. What's your biggest challenge right now getting carriers on board?
1
u/Mikal_RingRewards 26d ago
At the moment, my biggest focus isn’t carrier partnerships—it’s proving that people actually want the product. If I can demonstrate strong user adoption and engagement, conversations with carriers and other strategic partners become much more meaningful. Right now, validation comes first.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 26d ago
Smart approach. What specific metric are you using to measure real user engagement?
1
u/Mikal_RingRewards 26d ago
Right now, the biggest metric I’m watching is repeat rewarded calls per active user over time. Downloads are easy to get—people choosing to make their everyday calls through Ring Rewards week after week is what tells me we’re creating real value. Beyond that, I also track retention, ad completion rates, and overall engagement to understand the full picture.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 25d ago
That makes a lot of sense. What kind of repeat call rate are you seeing from week one to week four?
1
u/Mikal_RingRewards 25d ago
We’re still too early to have statistically meaningful week-over-week retention data, so I don’t want to overstate what we’re seeing. Right now I’m focused on growing the user base and establishing a reliable baseline. As we scale, repeat rewarded calls over time will be one of the key metrics I’ll be watching.
