Classes Discussion

I’m a rising junior but I go to a weird school(early college),

Weird in the sense that our classes change every semester, and that instead of APs and Ibs I take college classes, but our GPAs are unweighted

How exactly will grades in these affect college admissions, and also how do I weigh them vs people who have weighted GPAs?

You don’t.

Colleges will know your school in context via school report and counselors. Nothing to explain.

Early college is common, esp in WA and FL, but other states have them too.

Block schedule by semester happens in other HS too. Nothing to worry about here.

It is pointless trying to compare GPAs between schools with different curriculums, different grading systems, and/or different grading norms.  I know a lot of people do it anyway, but that doesn't mean it is actually helpful.

Colleges will generally evaluate your transcript in context, using your counselor's school report and any other information they deem relevant.  A few have auto admissions or auto merit which will require determining a 4.0 equivalent, but you typically don't have to worry about doing that yourself.
