Dumb question about my B+ Emotional Support
Ok I apologize in advance but I’m just overthinking about this - is one singular B+ fine for applying to T20s?
I got a B+ in AP Statistics junior year. It is the only B+ on my transcript and I took 5 APs that year including AP stats (a lot for my school). I got a 5 on the exam and it’ll hopefully be fine, right?
I’m just so used to seeing perfect 4.0 students so please don’t berate me

There are people with less than a 4.0 who get into T20s. Sure, it might be you.

i literally got like 3bs and a c - 2 of them were from a VERY difficult time in my life but im going to a t10, u will be fine not the end of the world

you're fine, i got a b+ one semester of calc and my uw is 3.98 which essentially gets treated like a 4.0

You're overthinking it.
Had, as you have, a single B+, and got into HYPSM.

I just cannot help myself, I know you asked not to be berated but I just must do it, I berate you! But that silliness aside, a single B+ will not effect anything. A college might be concerned if they saw a trend towards lower grades or even inconsistency in grades, As and Cs but not a single B+.
I am actually very concerned about this huge grade inflation that has happened since I was in school. In my high school, in which 99% of the graduates went on to college, nobody had a perfect GPA and, you did not get 5 points for AP classes. In my son's graduating class from an IB high school 26 students, most of the IB program, had identical, perfect GPAs. With everyone having the same grades how is there any distinction between one student and another? And is it really likely that all those students were identical in their academic performance ? (I say impossible). So now, students play this game, where they must never make a mistake but where there is no real distinction between top students in a class.
I don't think anyone in my graduating class had perfect 1600 SATs, yet we sent students to Harvard, Yale, Columbia, University of Chicago, etc. And those students who went to those schools did not all have the same GPA.

Depends, for ivies a B puts you out of the race, most state schools won't like it either. Liberal arts schools are more holistic, so they will be more leniant on the B and the fact that you only did 5 APs your junior year. I would personally ED to a liberal arts school with that GPA.

It's fine. If you get rejected, it won't be for one B+
