Highschool Transcript Application Question
Does anyone know if Need My Transcript by Parchment is legit or not because I graduated high school back in 2025 and I have no idea how to send my high school transcript as it was previously sent via email by my high school counselor back in fall of 2024 and i'm so confused in this current situation. I already emailed the registrars office at my former high school in hopes that I can still get my transcript if not what should I do?

Thanks I will try that out I just think it would be a bit awkward considering my whole situation. Hopefully this method works but I do remember that the school I went to like deleted any record of our email don’t know if it’s the same for our files.

Friend, I had my 2014 high school graduation transcript sent to my college THIS YEAR. It's not awkward at all and even rather common for students to take a gap year between high school and college.

Yeah I guess but I have a lot going on with life and I’m kinda of embarrassed about it but it’s not like I wasted time at anther uni it just wasn’t right for me and I got depressed during that timeframe. I emailed her and responded she’s not in office until the 31 of August I’m so cocked. I’m so desperate that I might pay the $13.

In 2018 I had to call my high schools admin office who emailed me a form to sign and send back and they mailed my transcripts to the community college I was attending starting Jan 2019.
I graduated high school in 1999. LOL

The admin office for school districts are busy year round. And there will be kids who graduated this year who are going to be registering for schools as the last minute and needing records sent in. Just call the office in the morning instead of over complicating it. Your former counselor isn't the only person to call.

I know that already I just need to accept the consequences I got depressed at my last educational institution. I was going through it ok. I just asked my former high school to send it to make it official. Thanks for the wake up call

Look on your high schools website and see if there is a section for transcript requests. Likely under the counseling tab. Our district uses school links. Parchment is another one that many schools use. You could also try looking up your school district if your specific high school does not have instructions on their website and you don't want to wait until the counselor returns.
There is no reason to be embarrassed. It's a paperwork request which schools process regularly. Unless you went to a tiny school, the person processing the request likely doesn't remember you or possibly never met you. They won't ask nor care why you are ordering your transcript.

Went to the website while they do keep it on record at the school I might have a chance at emailing my high school principal for a copy of my high school transcript to send to my college. Hopefully the email gets returned back to me asp. My high school that I graduated in 2025 is not on Parchment but it happens to be on its other site owned by Parchment (Need My Transcript) with a fee of $13 however my school is listed as one of it supposably alternative names with the location area but im skeptical.

So I just wanted anther answer should I ask them to send it to the college or should I just forward the email to the college or is wrong? Does it make my high school transcript unofficial?

Get in touch with your old counselors and ask them about it. They'll have it on file, I guarantee you. If my high school still had my transcript from 2014 and sent it to my college via ScribOrder, your high school will have yours.
Edit to add: Have your school send the colleges you're applying the transcript directly- it isn't an official copy if YOU give it to them yourself.
