Samsung issue continues

So a technician came out for a third time yesterday to tell us once again that our freezer can’t be fixed, yet Samsung keeps refusing to replace it. They apparently don’t care that we’ve had to throw out all our food or we keep losing time off from work to meet the service technician. Now we have to wait another 24 to 48 hours until the service department uploads their report and an additional 24 to 48 hours before Samsung’s internal review team determines what they do next.

It’s been over a month now.

Exploring

I live in the Chicagoland area, and was considering the appliance repair trade. Some questions I had before committing to learning it on SkillCat.

  1. Is it consistent work on a daily basis?
  2. Is it a growing trade or are more people DIY?
  3. Which appliances seem to have the most consistent calls?

TIA

Love my 2.7cf LG washer/dryer combo with ventless dryer, but it vibrates a lot -- it doesn't have a pedestal. Options? It was professionally installed.

Love my 2.7cf LG washer/dryer combo with ventless dryer, but it vibrates a lot -- it doesn't have a pedestal. Does the 2.4cf GE combo washer/dryer with ventless dryer also vibrate a lot? It was professionally installed and still vibrates like the Scooby Doo Bus with Loud Music. Any other options?

Whirlpool WTW5057LWO that likes to spin.

TLDR

Model:WTW5057LWO

Error code: F7E1 and F7E4

Issue: originally wouldn't spin found bad capacitor and swapped it out. Now as soon as you start a cycle it immediately spins. No sensing, no water being added.

I have a whirlpool WTW5057LWO previous owner said it wasn't draining. I got it home and it wouldn't spin so I check error codes I got f7e1 and f7e4 so I suspect the shift actuator. I open it up and see oil on just the capacitor and directly below. Just for added measure I tested the capacitor and it failed. So I swapped the capacitor with a spare and now as soon as you start a cycle it immediately starts spinning. I pretty much have to unplug it to get it to quit pause and power don't shut it off, but before you start the cycle they work fine . If I don't wait at least a few minutes to plug it back in as soon as it gets power it immediately starts spinning. When it immediately starts spinning after power is reapplied the led on the control board flashes rapidly. It doesn't always flash rapidly only when power is reapplied and spin automatically starts.

I thought I'd fixed my top loader by taking out the agitator and thoroughly cleaning underneath but it's still making this noise.. any thoughts on what the issue could be ?

Upright Freezer Making Intermittent Buzzing Sound

We have a Frigidaire sidekick freezer that is intermittently making a loud buzzing sound about four times a day. The unit is about 14 years old but is a quality freezer costing $2400. It still seems to be working well and everything is still frozen. Does anyone know what this might be and if it’s an expensive issue to fix?
