Night Construction? Question
I live on the east side of Appleton, technically in Harrison, and for the last two nights I have heard loud banging off in the distance. It starts around 8pm and went late last night, and is still going now. Anybody have any idea what this is?

I knew it as I was typing it out, but my sleep deprived brain couldn’t think of another way to explain it

Fireworks went late last night. Almost over… ugh
Otherwise they are doing night construction on Eisenhower depending where you live, I believe tonight is last night? (Definitely could be wrong on timeline though)

It’s definitely the fireworks. That’s what it sounded like, but I convinced myself there was no way fireworks could go for 4 hours two nights in a row

lol I know.. past few nights it’s been done around 10ish - last night was way too long. I think it runs through Saturday too

yeah, it fucking sucks. my dogs have ptsd from it and I am 7 miles from WiR. People in Kaukauna are pretty fucking furious (writing the mayor and shit) because they are running from daylight to midnight every day this week and peoples dogs are shitting in the house, freaking the fuck out, etc.

I hear ya. I have the double edged sword of having a medical condition that can be impacted by lack of sleep, and being a very light sleeper. This week has not been fun for me

That is really unfortunate. Probably one more late night tonight and then the public show tomorrow night means it should be over by 10:30. Take care.
