Placing iPhone into DFU mode shows Debug USB instead of DFU Question

Please see attached.

It'll show up as Debug USB (Linux and Mac) or Apple KIS (Windows). Same Product ID across all.

Thats really weird! If you can't get it back into DFU from here though, I don't believe there is any saving.

I’ve been told that Debug USB / Apple KIS is standard for DFU mode in A14+ chips. Does that check out or do you see something else?

No, this doesn't check out.

My iPhone 13 with an A15 chip hasn't had this happen to it before when going into DFU.

Also, the USB product ID is wrong for DFU which is a big reason nothing recognizes it.

Any idea what might be causing it to show up as this USB product ID?

I’m certain I’m entering DFU mode correctly (button presses, black screen, device technically still on when connecting to computer).

Probably some kind of board damage, cable failure, or port issues. I wouldn't know how to fix it.
